I guarantee Wheelersburg will make it at 7 wins.

SOC II can really only have 3 possible teams go into the playoffs. 2 in Region 19 and West in Region 15 if they make it. But with the total points needed in Region 19 this year to get in, I dont see how 3 teams that play each other, one already having 2 losses, will get in.
I don't know who is in the SOC II. I assume you're talking about Wheelersburg and Minford? They both could easily make it. You are underestimating the amount of points left. Both Wheelersburg and Minford can make it with only 7 wins. Not likely but not impossible at this point. So if Minford wins 8, but loses to Wheelersburg they both will make it.

I really dont see Burg getting enough points in this region this year with 7 wins. I may be wrong, wouldnt be the first time. I sort of like Minford/Burg rematches in the same year.

I also meant that between Burg, Minford and Valley, only 2 of them have a chance of making it to week 11, since they are all playing a tough conference schedule.

But then again NOBODY is guaranteed a playoff spot, regardless of being 2-0 right now. Still alot of snaps to be played.

Technically all 3 COULD get in, but there are so many scenarios available it's mind boggling. Likely, I agree that at most 2 SOC II teams will get in.

if the teams on your schedule are not winning any ballgames, it doesn't matter if you run the table or not.
No second level points spells doom for your playoff chances.

The key to second level points is your league's non league record. The won/lost percentage of all teams in your league, when playing each other will be 50%. If your league wins more than 50% of their non league games the good teams in your league will pile up plenty of computer points.

Ding Ding Ding. We have a winner. Which illustrates the Crooksville example earlier in the thread, and why they won't pile up the points; at least one reason they won't.

your opponents have to win to get second level points not your league, go to ohsaa.org and get the education on the points system. As long as you defeat your opponents.

Your league is part of your opponents you nitwit. Your location is fitting. I'm very well educated on the point system thank you though for your concern.

thanks for the insult, if the scenario that you posted were the way it was figured then no team playing as an independent would even stand a chance. I'll avoid any and all threads that the un informed post on from now on.
