Good Luck Vikings. Hope for a injury free game for both Teams. On any given night, you never know what will happen. Safe trip to and from the game for the NY people coming over to our School. Watch out for those ghost deer, the one's that pop out of no where.......

If you were at the game, you know the final score was no indication at all of how the game was played. VC had NY on the edge for 3 quarters and outplayed them in the first half. VC had the ball inside the red zone 4 times and couldnt finish the drives. NY is a great team, but they needed their starters for all for quarters and it definatly wasnt a beat down. VC is heading in the right direction. Congrats to NY, 2 tough weeks to finish out the season...good luck.

You gotta love someone talking trash after playing a sloppy, undisciplined game agaisnt a team that they are a 100X more talented than. Raise your expectations NY BUCKS. You should have dominated VC, but they ran your ball down your throat for the better part of three quarters.

YEAH But a good TEAM TURNS THINGS AROUND.And NY RUN THE BALL ALL OVER YOU TOO.So until VC learns to finish game they will be where thier at BOTTOM LOOKING UP.!!!!!

And when they do turn things around, what will your excuse be when they beat you? These boys have worked hard ALL season. Just lacking in a few areas that I'm sure coach B will take care of. I f you watched the same game I did last night you'd have seen that the refs were a little rough on VC. NOT saying that was a factor in the outcome. NY was expected to roll VC last night. I think our guys should take a mental victory for holding NY to 14 in the first half and that wasn't NY NOT firing on all cylinders.

Not making excuses.just stating FACTS..48 minutes Not 24. makes 4 quarters.I known when vinton gets it toghter they WILL BE AT THE TOP IN THE TVC.....Thats what we all want RIGHT.Because if VINTON gets better.Ny will have to step it up to beat them.Just like last night. We all get better the TVC GETS STRONGER.

Re: Week 8: Nelsonville-York 5-2, 2-0 @ Vinton County 1-6,
I just watched the replay. I think Vinton should be glad the score was 14-6 in the first half. Two interceptions in the red zone by NY thrown right to the defense. Could have easily been 28-6 at half. Vinton couldnt stop the run. I dont remember NY even punting in the game. Vintons offense played very good in the first half but went stale in the the second half. Both teams left points on the field with turnovers. If they both score in the red zones when they were there could have been like 65-21. Ny has some work to do and Vinton needs to keep improving. Didnt seem to ever be in question for ny just because Vintons D couldnt stop them.. Big Games coming up in the TVC. Gonna be fun. Goold luck to VC and NY the rest of the year.

The kids were looking past VC, and VC should be thankful that it wasn't 28-6 or worse at the half.
In a few years VC will get the ship rited... Good luck the last 2 weeks of the season Vikes.
