I guess no one knows how many games we will win until the season unfolds, but I think we have athletes.

Bold prediction. It's pretty tough to go 0-10. And to be beat by 9 scores... Especially since if Notre Dame has Nobody, East has Nobody's kid brother with a gimpy legJason Vorhees wrote:I doubt Notre Dame will even win a game next year. They are going to be horrible. Good luck to the Titans and Coach Ashley in the upcoming season!

Are u saying east has noone good. They have Nathan Bradford tough as nails. They have Adam Campa who plays with all heart. They have Cody Belveal who is probably one of the fastest people in the league. They have Crager who is one of the best all around athletes in the county. East has the talent just not the work effort. Crager will have a rough next two years if he stays there.

Re: Notre Dame Football 2011
East very well could have some good players next year. But they, like Notre Dame, don't really have that many big names. I guess I just haven't heard of many of them. It's hard with the Daily Time's coverage!
Like you said though, all the talent in the world means nothing if you can't put in the work to develop it. You can rattle off a bunch of names, and I can for Notre Dame, but those are just names. Results are what matter.

Re: Notre Dame Football 2011
does anyone know if crager is staying at East next year? heard he was considering leaving??????

He has considered it ecspecially starting 0 and 4 this basketball season dont think he will stay would like to see him go to Notre dame and lead them to an soc in possibly every sport.

Is this the Milani boys first year playing? I liked watching him play last year, he brought enthusiasm to the team. Is there a schedule out yet? Do they play Greenup again?

Big shoes to fill, but coach Webb is a great O-line coach, I think he will get them prepared for the season. Not sure who the line will be though.

Re: Notre Dame Football 2011
Crager's a great player, but I hope he doesn't expect to transfer schools and be some savior. That's not how Coach Ashley works. If he comes in and works hard, and if he is as good as I think he is, he'll be a big help. Somehow I have a feeling this is just the work of the rumor mill though...
As for the Oline, Born and Malone are the returning starters. They'll be seniors. The returning nonstarters definitely have big shoes to fill. Hopefully they get in the weight room and get mean in the off season!

Re: Notre Dame Football 2011
Your guess is as good as mine. The Ogg kid is pretty big, he'll be a soph. Was out last year with a knee injury. There's a couple big freshmen coming up too. The only players who actually got to participate on the line last year were Delabar, Stevens, and Glockner. Delabar and Stevens will be seniors. Glockner will be a Junior.
Another player that I just thought of is Pierron. He plays tight end, but could maybe bump down? I honestly have no idea! I think we'll see a very interesting mix this year

Freshmen will not play period. If you can't play 4 qrts with heart and desire, all the weight lifting and transfers is going to do nothing. Also need to be faster and quicker.

Is your coach Bob Ashley the same Bob Ashley that used to coach at Meigs?

Re: Notre Dame Football 2011
hobo, I've seen freshmen play varsity. there was one at Notre Dame this year. Sometimes it has to be like that at a school like ND. But I agree. The hardest workers will be the ones who play.
Bob Ashley coached at ND for awhile, then went to Minford, then went to get his Master's degree, and now is back at ND. I don't know about before that. He played at Meigs, and I don't know of any other Coach Ashleys, so I'd say probably.
