Waverly wins 33-0.

VC totally dominated the entire first half but could not score, ball was in Tiger territory the entire time. Waverly takes the ball with just over a minute and drives the length of the field to go up 7-0 at halftime.
Two completely different teams came out of the locker rooms for the 2nd half and Waverly dominated the 3rd quarter going up 26-0.

The 2nd half is something this Tiger squad needs to build on.

And to think that my good buddy (who is an Alexander supporter) was trying to convince me today that VC was for real and would challenge for the TVC crown. Perish the thought. Tonight proved it.

I dont know where that Waverly team that came out in the second half came from, but I sure liked it. If we play with that kind of fire and execute our offense better (still had a few penalties) we can compete in conference play.

How do you bring Taylor Ward's TD back? I mean the ONLY official at that end of the field was right there and signals TD. How do you overturn that call?

BIG WIN TIGERS!!!

I guess an Alexander fan's view of talent is a tad altered when witnessing the tremendous skills that schools like Frontier and Eastern have to offer. VC is on the right track. Took a step back last night, but they are turning around. Go Vikes!

good to see they finally got the ball into the hands of Ward out of the tb spot now maybe they can turn the season around. west and valley are both pretty good but not unbeatable and waverly can definately play with burg minford and northwest. who knows 3-2 or 4-1 in the soc2 isnt unthinkable. keep it simple keep it smart

From the link John provided:

Possession Time............... 28:58 19:02
1st Quarter................. 8:41 3:19
2nd Quarter................. 9:08 2:52
3rd Quarter................. 5:46 6:14
4th Quarter................. 5:23 6:37
Third-Down Conversions........ 2 of 13 3 of 7
Fourth-Down Conversions....... 2 of 7 0 of 0
Red-Zone Scores-Chances....... 0-4 3-3

One of the red zone opportunities for VC ended inside the 5 yard line and another at the 6.
