Apparently Rvbballdude hasn't been to many game in Coal Grove, most of the time the Grove is fighting the refs at home, I have never really been able to see this advantage that you speak of.

One of the dumbest things ever written on SEOPS. 53-14 and the refs were the difference in the game. Give me a break. River Valley's lone win to this point was against a bad team outside the OVC. Officiating doesn't have a 39 point difference. I'd expect something smarter from a Grover, Rico Suave. I can "bare"ly believe you'd say such a thing.rico suave wrote:yep the refs made the difference in this game. at 53-14 with 11 minutes left in game grove pulled their starters, but the refs cost river valley.
Really? Have you ever been to a River Valley game at home? I've watched and heard of quite a few poor officiating jobs there, too. Sure bad calls happen, but at 53-14, the officiating has very little to do with the outcome.Rvbballdude wrote: Coal Grove clearly the more physical better ball team!
What was evident every time you visit Coal Grove the officiating was horrible! Same old Lawrence County/Coal Grove refs making calls on every play that he opponent makes a big gainer RV had at least 5 plays called back that were huge gains!
Well, sounds like whining to me.Rvbballdude wrote:Not whining! Just why do the Coal Grove refs have to give them such an advantage when it's not needed,it's High School kids your cheating! Been like that for years in Football and Basketball!

I believe the Rico suave comment was made with tongue firmly planted in cheek!

Then RVBBALLDUDE must have not told the truth. He said Sparling got a double unsportsmanlike on that one. Two unsportsmanlikes on the coach is an ejection. So was RVBBALLDUDE wrong or just lying?MadPolecat wrote:Neither Sparling or anybody else was ejected.

Maybe we are both lying.
I am quite sure that Sparling was not thrown out, however.

First flag was a sideline warning. Second was unsportsmanlike on HC. Ran toward side judge who threw 1st flag.
