Do you actually know his reasons for leaving? Hey, if a coach wants to make their living situation better, they'll move on. It's something people in every line of work do.

Moving from a DIV school in Wellston ... to a DIII team that plays in the MSL ... I would say most coaches would do that deal ... and if he is originally from that area - then it definitly makes sense.

If anyone knows where I can locate Circleville stats, I would greatly appreciate it.

I will have the Athens team stats up on their team page on trivalleyconference.com tomorrow sometime ... some are already on the site via the TVC-Ohio leaderboard ... http://trivalleyconference.com/Leaderboards.html

Wellston people can think whatever they want, they have differing opinions about rooting for a former coach and have the right to their opinions but it doesn't have a darn thing to do with this game topic. LoganElm_grad09....you are correct, Circleville has lost to some quality opponents and we know that our kids will need to work as hard as they can this week to prepare for a very good football team.

Great draw for the dogs, better than a Cincinnati team. Bulldogs roll by at least 40. Bulldogs win 62-6

This is probably the best matchup Athens could have hoped for. Good luck Bulldogs. I think this will be a really close game and I'm not ready to give a prediction yet. Whoever wins will most likely face Kettering Alter in Round 2. I don't see either being able to top Alter, but this weeks game should be a close, exciting game to watch.

Going with the TVC and them Bulldogs. Athens offense is a scoring machine. Their defense is solid. This team had 18 seniors walk accross the fiels on theis senior night against us. That is a lot of experience. And them two sophomores are fun to watch.

EVEN THOUGH NOW I LIVE CLOSER TO CIRCLEVILLE, THAN I DO ATHENS,
I STILL HAVE A SOFT SPOT FOR MY OLE BREATHRENS FROM THE OLD S.E.O.A.L DAYS.
I'LL NEVER FORGET WHEN I WAS A SOPHOMORE, WE ALL PRETENDED TO BE IN THE SHOWERS AFTER A VICTORY OVER ATHENS-----------AND INFACT THERE WERE LIKE 40 NAKED FIGHTING TIGERS PLAYING IN THE POOL, SLIP SLIDING ALL OVER THE FLOOR, CANNON BALLS, YOU NAME IT.THEN BLOCKS OF LIGHTS STARTED COMING ON THROUGH THE WINDOWS THAT REVEALED THE ATHENS BAND, MAJORETTES, ETC.THERE WERE LIKE 40 NAKED GUYS TRYING TO FIT THROUGH 1 SINGLE DOORWAY. I REMEMBER A VERY, VERY, QUIET , TENSE RIDE HOME FROM ATHENS THAT NIGHT. :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26 :aaaaa26

Athens' quick strike offense will have C'ville's heads spinning circles. Athens scores a bunch early, then C'ville makes it closer in the end only to send the puppies on to face Alter.

Heath Hinton went to Amanda, so he has an MSL background.

Circleville has played three Division II teams and four playoff qualifiers.

As for wanting matchups, let's face it that C-ville, LE, Athens or Gallia probably didn't want to face the Alter, McNick or Marshall out of the shoot.

Shawnee is no push over either, I look for them to give Alter all they want.

I really like Athens in this one. From what I saw at Nelsonville, the QB is for real. The Buckeyes did a desent job defending the pass (9-19) but he is also a really good runner.
One of the things I was impressed with was his ability not to take a huge hit. He knows how to protect his body, how to get down. If Cville drops back to protect against the pass,
Athens has the ability run the ball also. I think tight early then Athens pulls away 35-7.
Go Bulldogs, Athens county and the TVC need a win!!!!!!!

After thinking it over, I think Athens will win this game, but I think it will be fairly close with Athens winning by 1-2 TDs. God have mercy on whoever wins this game in Week 2 of the playoffs. This region is wicked!

A poor logan team handled roundtown in a scrimmage this year, the bullpuppies should have very little trouble in this round!
