Not sure about "outstanding," but he certainly is available.

Don't forget Kelly Wolfe, who would be "an outstanding" choice.
Now's your chance Ground Buck! You can be the man who turns around the Yellow Rockets!
That is an outstanding job for ground buck!
Moonshine why don't you take your expertise on Logan football and apply it at Wellston? You are clearly a legendary guru in all aspects of high school football. Plus you could have Paladin as an advisor.

Hopefully they give the new coach a few years and probably should drop Jackson week 1

Feel bad for the kids in all this. Going to be hard for a new coach to implement his system by August. I heard a rumor that the week 1 Jackson game was extended for 6 more years

This sure feels like a coach that took a job with hopes of rebuilding. The job was tough and he quit. I could be wrong. But that's what it feels like.

He stepped down his self. He will remain at the school and continue teaching.

I don't think you are too far off with that. Wellston does not have a lot of talent coming at the moment outside of Jayjohn and a couple sophomores and everyone knew it was going to take a few seasons to build the work ethic up and be competitive just don't think he was up to the task along with not getting some of the things he wanted as well as not getting along particularly well with the AD it just wore him down.

That sheds a little light on things I wasn't thinking about nor aware of. Good post.

I figured it was but I don't want to say things before I find them out fully. That is setting the team back even more. One way or another the administration needs to find someone to come in and supervise the weight room so students can come in. No weight room is a big set back for kids who choose not to play a winter sport. With Wellston having to do cuts for basketball and the low number of Wrestlers, that tells me there are a quite a few players just sitting at home or searching for their own gym. That is not how anyone should leave a program. I will definitely be patient with whoever the next coach is. They are starting in a steep hole.

Is "Dutch" in the running? If not he should be. How about "Jesty?" The mistake they made last time is they didn't get a guy with a catchy name. Hopefully they've learned from that.
