Have you seen the cats play???newlex/sheridan wrote:Will be a good game, Trimble is the favorite but they will def have to play well to win. Caldwell is young, almost all juniors and sophomores but they will compete. There will be no better athlete on the field then Tanner Clark, the redskins run first quarterback.
I think Jenkins and Downs might have to say something about your comment. Oh, and don't forget the smallest player on the field #1 Simerly. Although we all know he will be one of the toughest. This should be a good one. Great Atmosphere for playoff football.
Go Cats.

I think the Location is a good place to 'play'. I don't know if it is a good place to watch. It's not just the parking, but size. Maybe the Div. VII school size will make that work, but a couple of bigger regular season games I've been to in the past there were not comfortable. It is a GREAT venue for atmosphere, and getting a good view. I'm thinking 105 said they were covering the game. Is that right?

I have never seen him play and don't need to. The kid may very well be an athlete but, after watching Trimble I can honestly say I very seriously doubt he will be the best on the field.

Hey Caldwell fans, the visitor's bleachers are right on the ground (not elevated). If you can't get in the top 3 rows, I would not sit there because all you will see is the back of your football team's backs all night. Due to that, the people in the lower rows will stand all night, thus the whole visitor's section stands the whole game. The hill behind the north end zone provides a nice view and you can sit.
Tomcat fans keep the hill in mind if you overwhelm the home bleachers.

The place can't be that small.

Have you ever been to New Lexington's stadium? Don't get me wrong, it's an incredible high school football stadium, nestled down in a valley, kinda like Bill Sauer field in Logan used to be, turf field, it's great looking!Wizard wrote:teach1coach2 wrote:Hey Caldwell fans, the visitor's bleachers are right on the ground (not elevated). Just one problem, there is nowhere to park! I was there just a few weeks ago, and I was speechless at how poor the parking is. But, I'm sure it will work out fine!

Just did a Google Earth flyby on the Nex Lex Stadium. Where exactly do they park anyone? LOL. Might be a hike to the stadium, but that's OK. Maybe they park on the baseball fields?

After seeing Trimble this year I think they got the guns to make it to the state championship game again.
