I have watched both teams and I see no reason why Athens can't win this one by 28, at least.

Athens wins but Grandville didn't seem to be blown out in their 2 losses so I can see them losing to Athens along the lines od 35-21 or 42 24.
Athens wins but may be closer than many think.
Good luck Athens

For the folks who bash Athens constantly - how about you support your favorite team a little more instead of bashing Athens.

As far as the game, Granville is a good team and could keep it close for a little bit. I'll go Athens 63-35.

All of the Athens Play-Offs Games the Past 3 Seasons have been Packed House, People standing around the Fence Area.

With Trimble Playing Saturday, The Tomcats will provide Several Extra Fans in The Plains...likewise, the Bulldogs will do the same come Saturday as the A-Train Fans will grab their Mohawks to support Trimble...

Athens and Trimble have supported each other more than any schools have I have seen in the past Decade. It has been something special between the two schools and fans...

GO BULLDOGS, GO TOMCATS, GO BUCKEYES,GO GOLDEN EAGLES and GO WHITE FALCONS...Represent the TVC PROUD!

Granville is not a strong contender in my opinion. I know they are VERY unhappy to have been paired against the bulldogs in round 1, as would any team in this division. The Athens offense is simply a well oiled machine. On an off night against Nelsonville, which is what it was, they only scored 48 points. 48 points on an off night. The dogs will come ready to roll this Friday. Offensive guard Tyler Bailey is injured and won't likely play Friday, which can have some impact. However, I actually think Athens will score at least 50 points in this game. I'm guessing a score of 56-14. Do they do running clocks in playoff games? If not add another touchdown or two to Athens points.

Bullpuppies in a tight game! Early week prediction:

Bullpuppies 55

Grandville 42

Did some one say an off night, the team that had an off night was N-Y

I think you need to be nice, and respect your fellow TVC teams.....

NY showed up and played a hell of a game against the dogs and all you can say is that Athens had an off night.
This is the reason why folks don't like Athens. Classless ass*holes who can't be respectful, and admit that NY came up with and for the most part executed a good game plan..

C'mon, one bad Apple and you have to lump us all in.
Anyone who knows Football knows that NY played a great game against Athens. Did you really expect any difference in what this game has been the past 7 years. There hasn't been a better game inside the TVC-OHIO then Week 10 NY/ATH.

The problem is that anyone can hide behind a username, so don't take the bait O&B...Athens has much respect for NY...

N-Y had the off night if a few less mistake they could have come closer to beating the bullpuppies!

You're so funny 93
Athens cruises after 2nd half
I'm really hoping this squad gets beat soon though! I've watched this team several times (mostly on tv) and I can't see how in anyway they are arguably the best team in SEO history! I say tri valley gets them this year
