As a huge Bulldog fan it pains me to say this but in my opinion Tri-Valley is likely the best team overall in the region and the team to beat. They have plenty of offense when needed and probably the best defense of the bunch. Athens would be my second choice just because of the ability to score points at will but the defense is suspect at times.. DeSales been there done that, Jackson strong defense and good running game, Dover a lot like TV just not quite as good, Granville all passing all the time, New Philly a loss to Dover this week and it may not matter, Big Walnut could beat anyone on a given night but not great overall, Logan Elm for whatever reason struggles near the end of the year these past few seasons and then Sheridan who needs a miracle to qualify for the post season despite likely being 8-2 would be my top 10 in order.

Athens over Jackson in the regional title game at Logan Chieftain Stadium.
Athens/Trotwood-Madison will be the de-facto state title game in the final four. T-M can pose a lot of the same match-up threats as Marion-Franklin. Can Athens get over that hump?
If so they have a great chance to raise the trophy in The Shoe.

DeSales will probably have the most depth 60 players 10-12, and played the tougher schedule of any team in the region, but I am picking Tri-Valley to finally get out of a region.Hubbard is loaded with college players and will most likely win it all.The most intriguing matchup this weekend in the region is DeSales at Dover.Dover has 2 losses but still finished easily 2nd in the region, so they must have had a pretty rugged schedule also, although their game with Z-ville was close which could bode well for Athens.
