Not sure what burg has returning but I see winning 3 of next 4 vs burgdoubleplay643 wrote:Yeah but you dang near ran out the last time we were there lol...good to see this series get extended, hopefully we can start to even it up a little right now we way behind.BurgGrad_06 wrote:We have plenty left over from the Jackson game!! This thread is very strange. Typically a 5-2 Muletown team coming to 6-1 Burg would generate lots of talk, but not many Falcon fans have much to say this week.

A win by the Burg Friday, will most likely garner them enough points (primary and secondary) to push them up to one of the top 4 seeds in Region 17 and then they will need to hold-on against Valley and West in what will be even more play-off filled points for all 3 programs.
Lots of points available in next 3 weeks for several teams.

It is what it is! I heard Minford QB and running back are out for season. Anyone else see hear that? Burg by a bunch...........4th n Goal wrote:This thread is very strange. Yes they are. Minford is fielding a very young team. They played a cupcake schedule up until the start of SOC play ( that's why no one from Muletown is talking). Burg by a ton.then what wrote:It is what it is! I heard Minford QB and running back are out for season. Anyone else see hear that? I watched the Falcons week 1 they turned the ball over 6 times and still had a convincing win against the pointers. With that being said the falcons generally field a quality team this one is better than most area teams but IMO they can't hang with da burg.

No, it is a comment about play off points and the quantity available to Burg in the next three games against Minford, Valley and West given their records.D-5 wrote:Really the playoffs have starteddoubleplay643 wrote:A win by the Burg Friday, will most likely garner them enough points (primary and secondary) to push them up to one of the top 4 seeds in Region 17 and then they will need to hold-on against Valley and West in what will be even more play-off filled points for all 3 programs.

Or vice-versa the points available to the other teams.
Re: WEEK8 MINFORD @ WHEELERSBURG SOCII
Minford sits 9th in region 14 wins over Burg and Valley might be enough to put them in, I haven't checked the numbers
Re: WEEK8 MINFORD @ WHEELERSBURG SOCII
Due to injuries, Minford will be starting 5 Sophs and 1 Freshman many going both ways. Basically W'burg wil be playing Minford's JV team. The Sr. QB was lost for the year at Rock Hill, and the FB against NW, so no one can tell me playing a tougher schedule will only result in injuries, b/c two of Minford best players were lost against sub-par teams.Jolly P(irate) wrote:Yes they are. On the bright side of things, the younger Falcons will gain great experience in this game. As anything can happen in football, I don't expect them to give up at any point. As far as the Freshman QB it will be his first varsity start and it will be against W'burg. Win or lose, I think this experience will pay dividends here in a few years. Givem' Hell Red!

Re: WEEK8 MINFORD @ WHEELERSBURG SOCII
Minford will be in with a win over Burg or Valley(just 1 of em) granted they defeat Waverly. Paint Valley and NW have ended up really helping the Falcons 2nd level, and Paint Valley will win the SVC.
Re: WEEK8 MINFORD @ WHEELERSBURG SOCII
You never know what will happen Pirate . Minford is young and I'm sure the youngsters are playing as hard as they can. I wouldn't laugh too hard, you guys also predicted that you would roll Jackson and we ll see now that played out.Jolly P(irate) wrote:Minford will be lucky to win an SOC game at all.D-5 wrote:Minford sits 9th in region 14 wins over Burg and Valley might be enough to put them in, I haven't checked the numbers
