Better quit talking about the coach, people on this site cant handle it when you start talking about coaches even if it is the truth.SportFan2013 wrote:footballfan wrote:I hope you are not a parent or player for RH. Attitudes like this will prevent us from turning things around. It is amazing how a team self districts like this one week after week. This team was 7-6 with Minford at halftime......Minford is the real deal. Unfortunately, when a team has been down for awhile they tend to listen and believe the garbage people like yourself throw around. Good luck to the Redmen. RH can win this game and many more on the schedule....SportFan2013 wrote:This is a home game, and also the homecoming game for the Redmen.
Looks like another loss for the Hill. Good luck to both teams.
I would like to see things turn around. Things will turn around is what we have been told every game since 2011, and I haven't seen it yet. Its definitely not the players, its the coach.
Also, I do believe Paul Bryant said "Show class, have pride, and display character. If you do, winning takes care of itself." Hasn't Rock Hill received penalties, and had players removed from every game this year because of bad sportsmanship?

I lived in the rock hill district for 31 years. I really hope the redmen football program can get back to winning. while i'm not trying to stir anything up. and i'm sure it will. but the staff just is not producing there.no other job , with that kind of production would you be retained. and I realize most coaches are teachers, but I think it's long past due for a change there.you are going to end up with a program that kids will want to transfer, or just not play at all. however it happens, sure like to see them winning again.
Re: Week 5 - Rock Hill vs. Wellston
If Wellston plays like they did Friday vs Oak Hill they SHOULD get the W. Continue to play defense like they have the past 2 weeks and minimize the turnovers, it should give Wellston another one in the win column.

Congrats to the Rockets on the win and to Rock Hill on a very hard fought game. I believe the Red Men will pick up some wins.

Pick up some wins? What team(s) do you see Rock Hill beating? It will be yet, another 0-10 season.

I don't know why you picked Wellston as the must win game. Wellston has played all of their opponents except Jackson within a touchdown. I see no reason why RH would not be competitive against Chesapeake and River Valley and I would not take them lightly if I was South Point or Coal Grove. Fairland may be tough.

I agree but RH needs to Win a game, their kids are not that bad.
