But the Bulldogs are only averaging 49.5 points against much better opponents. The MSL is a different monster than the SVC and this game will test the Vikings way more than the previous two weeks have. I wish them well though. Would love to see a massive turnaround in just one season.
It was so nice ya had to HATE twice. Only averaging 49.5 points against MUCH BETTER OPPONENTS. How do you know this. Even if Heath and Whitehall are better than us why sarcasim. Then in typical Danicalifornia fashion a fake bid of good tidings. You have to be a Gemini cause I clearly see your two faces.
Not to be overly picky but the way I read that he was making a suggestion that Heath and Whitehall are better than Unioto and Piketon not VC but I could be wrong.

I think he was referring to Unioto and Piketon too transplant. Either way, the Vikings have shown they can win. They've proven people wrong in week 1 and again in week 2. Lets see if they can do it again.

Maybe you are right A town but I don't think so. Look at all th VC threads this year from week 1 Unioto till now. And I remember some from last year. And that is ok. I don't expect everyone who posts on here to be like you 93Bulldog, Dundas, O&B, Hitman, Steely, Jimmy the Greek and a host of others. But if you stick your nose in and take a crack at me for joshing with posters that I communicate with then I have to fire back. Please look at those other posts A town and see if it doesn't seem to be negative against VC from Dani.

Maybe you are right. If so I'll eat crow pie. But Dani made it personal with me on the Piketon thread. Never once did I directly say anything to Dani.

They have the ability to do just that. Winning is sweet, but its sweeter when your opponent already thinks you're beaten before the game. These guys have a shot to make the biggest turnaround in VC history from 1 season to the next. Ill post some info a little bit later.

In the Unioto thread, I predicted a Unioto victory (17-14) and correctly said the Vikings wouldn't score 35 on the Shermans (even if it was only right due to PATs). Transplant, you finished the thread by wishing good tidings as did I, since I've never felt ill will towards the Vikings.

I made a single post in the Piketon thread after I felt you were being very over the top in your rubbing in the Vikings win. I probably should have let it go, but I did not.

In this thread, I simply stated that the MSL is much better than the SVC (4 playoff teams to 2 last year, that's a fact) and that Bloom put up a lot of points on teams that are better than Piketon and Unioto.

But, since my well wishes are frowned upon, I will not say another word on a VC thread during football season, unless I am wrong in my prediction of this game.

I'm not sure anyone has said BC isn't the biggest test thus far for VC. At least not that I've read..

As for those who know me, know I bleed maroon. And as someone who saw the three previous contests, I HATE THIS MATCH-UP! I will be glad when they are gone next season. In 2008, we were coming out of a 4-6 season (2007) that had several issues, it was then, I thought the program was at it lowest. That BC team in 2008 was 3-7, the year before (2007) and they handed it to us at home. The same thing in 2009, BC finished 3-7 the season before and they beat us like a drum. What the 28-0 score doesn't indicate is that the Vikings NEVER CROSSED THE FIFTY YARD LINE until the last minute of the game. Last season, with a new coach, a new scheme, and a bunch of SOPHOMORES and JUNIORS, beat us 33-0. Well, one year later, at their place, same coach who had some success, and a bunch of now, JUNIORS and SENIORS, what will the outcome be? Again, I have my maroon-colored glasses on, but...? The only thing I ask is that the Vikings compete and finish strong and let the scoreboard be what it will be.

It's not what you say it's how you say it and that is fine, cause I never commented about it untill you tried to check me about having a little fun with some of the guys I communicate with. I don't own a thread nor do I try to, and I never disrespect any of our student athletes. But I will not let someone talk out of turn to me especially when I have never spoke out of line to them. I never called you out of your name as you did me. The bottom line is this we are all on here cause we enjoy our kids, our community and sports, and we like chatting with others who enjoy the same. Lets do that with out being rude to one another. And with that being said Im done with it. Now LETS GO VIKES!!!!!

I understand what you're saying hawkeye. Until we are to the point in our programs development to compete with teams like Bloom Carroll, we probably shouldn't schedule them. With that said however...this years team isn't the same as 08, 09 or last years. Those teams wouldn't have finished in the top half of the TVC hocking let alone put up a fight against BC. Ill bet you that this years Vikings will have the ball in Bloom Carroll territory much sooner than the 4th quarter. This years team is good. And compared to previous years they are great. Maybe not BC's level but they are getting there. They've proven they can beat "okay" teams. Lets give them a chance against a great one and see how we compare. This is the second best team on our schedule and if they show they can at least somewhat compete, that will bode well for the TVC season. And keep in mind, the majority of our core are juniors and sophomores. We will only be stronger when we play them next season.

We have them for at least two more years. I'd rather see 3 SVC teams in the first 3 weeks and a TVC Hocking team for our late season non league week.

Drew Pasteur has Bloom Carroll +16. Keep in mind he had Piketon +9 last week and was off a total of 23 as VC won +14.
