Last I heard they was still trying but they don't think they will find anything
Re: Lucasville Valley 2015
I'll always remember that Lucasville Valley vs. River game in the playoffs many years ago at Athens. I believe it was 1997.
River dominated that game and did everything but get that 'W'. I think it was 14-7 final.
What ever happened to that Valley QB? Did he play college ball?

Re: Lucasville Valley 2015
Talking to a few players while they hope the spot gets filled many think it will have to bs a out of state opponent they kind of like the idea of having a extra week to heal and prepare for burg and they don't expect it to have much influence on the playoffs

You are wrong. It was 97.izladoom wrote:I think that was 98.
Valley's QB went on to WV State to play football and baseball but decided not to play and came home.

Valley v. East was always a really good matchup for about a decade or so ending when Valley moved up to the SOC II but obviously the two schools have taken different directions over the years. East lost 2 good players already, one we already all know is an OSU commit so I highly doubt they have the horses to keep this game close at all but it will still be cool to see due to the history between the two.

Valley has dominated the LOS each time they have the Trojans in the past. The Trojans are a huge question mark with the new coach and whether we can turn around ,or in a long rebulding faze.....What to the Indians have coming back?

Re: Lucasville Valley 2015
I know from 1996-2006 Valley was 11-0 against East, and in the 2006 season Valley joined the SOC II, so the decade before that would have been the one I just spoke of. I don't think any of those games were within 2 scores...maybe it was a good matchup in the late 80s-early 90s.battlecats wrote:Valley v. Amazing reading skills they are teaching you in Porter Township.
Re: Lucasville Valley 2015
It would be silly to think Valley will not beat East, especially returning 95% of a Regional Championship team. The Indians will have a chance to win every game they play in, and yes even against Madd Doggs Pirates. I'm not saying they will go 9-0, but they will have a chance to win every game.
Re: Lucasville Valley 2015
Valley has to be the hands down favorite to win their division this year.
