Ok I do think that the boys came out slow with all the HC festivities going on. Barnesville Cade Hannahs ran back the opening KICK to get the Rocks going. For most of the game the Rocks who have a nice defense shut down the interior run of Fort Frye. Barnesville on its 1st offensive play of the game game ran a stratch with Hannahs and he house called it to put the Rocks up 14-0. From that point on the Cadets did do very well vs Barnesville especially in the run game. Fort was shut down in the redzone 3 times in the 2nd and it went to half 14-8 Barnesville. We know Coach Huck is one of the top coaches when it comes to halftime adjustments and the Cadets erupted in the 2nd half. First play of 2nd half Tyler Fisher took one 90 yards to the house. Then Fort got a 3 in out. Then Fort ran the punt back for a score within 5 mins it was 29-14. Cadets could of had another TD in 4th but the Cadets dropped a long TD. Cadets played sloppy but the fact that they scored 42 on that defense is impressive. Game like this is good for the Boys because they needed to play all 4 Qts. Barnesville switched up what they’ve done most the year. They went away from the spread and benched QB Tate Dowler. They tried to power the Cadets. Backup QB made a few players but he threw a ton of Ints. Cade Hannahs is a stud and he’s made plays all 3 years we’ve played Barnesville.

Tyler Fisher continues to have a good season another 3 Tds tonight. He has 14 in 6 games.

The Rocks Defense is really good only allowed 28 to Steubenville Central and 26 to Meadowbrook. Fort put up 42 so they should be proud of that and gave the Rocks it’s biggest loss.
