Ain’t that the truth. Been waiting since last October to watch my Trojans. I ended up going/will be going to all 10 games for the first time this season. The Summer came up and I was excited for camp and practice to begin. Then just like that we were playing our week 1 game at Valley. Now 9 weeks have gone by in what seems like about 2. Sat in the rain for at least 4 games. The Final game of the season is here on Friday, it’s win or go home for the Trojans (may go home even with a win). Crazy how fast it’s flown by, my Friday nights aren’t going to be the same after this week. At least I still got the Buckeyes and Bengals for a few more weeks.

Portsmouth has to win. Looking at the 8 and 9 seed. Or 7 and 8 I can’t remember they play teams that are really good. So the cards may play out right. If west loses they have lost 3 in a row I think? Minford should beat valley. I hope otherwise for Portsmouth sake. But I wouldn’t let this get in there heads. I’d forget and pretend like it’s week 1 and focus on the game it’s a tall task but it can be done. Ironton fumbles a lot and has a lot of penalties. Like people are saying you have to go to another option if Parker is not running well. Can’t run the ball the 2nd half down 20 or more like the Gallia game. You get in Joel’s range and it’s 4th down you go for 3. Take any points you can get if available. South point stuffed Portsmouth twice on 4th down that first quarter. Exciting game. I’m looking forward to it.

Portsmouth win they should get in if the 3 teams ahead or couple lose. 2 of three teams ahead of ptown play 9-1 teams with Minford done!! Minford has more hurt than starters, all starters are on sideline hurt, around 11 so they should go down. It’s up to ptown to leave it all on the field!!

We all have been saying all year how much better a football team that Ironton is this year. A lot of the time they have shown just how good they are, but I think that 2 of there losses have occurred mainly just because of turnovers and silly mistakes. Some of there skill kids are to good of athletes to still be making some of these mistakes. Portsmouth will go just as far as Parker can take them. I would love to see both teams make the playoffs, but that may not be in the cards this year. I think the Trojans will give one heck of an effort, but if the Tigers play a clean game, I think overall they have a little more talent and will come away with the win. I hope both teams have an injury free game.

Correct. But there has to be another option other then Parker. One dimensional football doesn’t take you far. There’s other skilled players that are good. Parker is a beast. I think Friday we may need that other option in our back pocket. Running in the ovc can be done but week 11 and higher you need to be a balanced offense. I’m proud of the kids no matter what. And I hope Parker runs wild. He can do it.

I'm conflicted with who I want to win this game. lol I usually like any team we previously beat to win, but would also like to have the opportunity to play Portsmouth week 11 at home, especially after they have eluded our regular season schedule. If both teams play their best football I pic Ironton by 2 TDs. If ironton continues to give away the ball and commit excessive penalties Portsmouth could very well come away with the W.

Just asking! Why don't they schedule each other? Right down the road from each other, big crowd! Or mayby I should have asked, when did they stop playing each other?
