1. take pot shots at each other
2. take pride in beating much smaller schools
3. cant beat anyone their size or bigger
4. and lack the cajoneys to put together a league with each other as members...

Gentlemen, the TVC is in severe decay. NOW is the time.

Athens
Logan
Warren
Marietta

You can make it go with four schools. Grow a set and make it happen. Others will soon follow your lead if you have the foresight to think outside the box.

What say you?
That's not true. Athens plays - and beats - school's its size or bigger all the time. Beat both Logan and Parkersburg South last year (both of which are larger than Athens)

In 2014, Athens was the SMALLEST of 8 playoff teams in region 9. In some cases, by a wide margin. I think Tri-Valley had over 120 more boys.

Athens actually beat 5 teams that year, which were bigger. 5 in one season alone.

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black! OMG, I'm not talking specifically about you NoReply, but Logan posters HAVE to lead the world in trolling Athens throughout the threads on this site. It's ridiculous and gets sooooo tiresome. Carry on. Go Bulldogs
Better watch out here Athens just might cut and run on their own post. :D
Hilarious.

No need to.
Already got em.
The regional champion trophy sits right there in the case outside McAfee ... and the state runner up trophy next to it.

Awesome! A trophy for coming in second. The entitlement mindset is alive and well in Athens.

Athens wins by as much as they want. RV has a good RB and if you stop him that’s the ballgame.

Hurt a little? What you said was just ignorant and you couldn’t even type it using proper English. So spend tomorrow thinking of a better way to insult the Raiders. Once you think you have something good, get an adult to proof read it before you make yourself look stupid again.

Joey Moore is over 2100 yards passing. He should end up #4 behind Burrows three years in Athens history, Clay Davis was 2290, Grant Gregory was 2,085 yards, and Brendan Sano 1855 yards

Athens 49 RV 0

Raiders have to hope for a injury free game and be ready to take on SG in week 10. SG is not a very good D7 team so RV should get win #2. Will Peck be back next year? Probably so. I believe they are having hope with their 4-0 JV team.
