Are those considered two separate schools? I was never sure how to treat them in my all-time playoff database.

they are the same school just changed names in 2000. sports teams still use "East Tartans" but technically they are Sciotoville Community School

So more like Athens - who changed colors and absorbed The Plains and Chauncey-Dover from '66 to '67. Athens HS records go back to the 1800s.

And not like Nelsonville-York - which was created when Nelsonville and Buchtel-York consolidated. NHS records end in '66. NYHS records start in '67.

They might have played a Redskin war chant or something because that game was Woodsfield vs. Fort Frye. The Monroe Central consolidation happened in 1994.

Incorrect, East was formed at Sciotoville Community School at the end of the 2001 school year when Portsmouth was going to shut them down and bus students from Sciotoville to Portsmouth. At the end of the school year people of Sciotoville fought to get the school recognized as a community school. The first graduation class was the 2002 class.
