We all know ny is to high and mighty to play on grass. They drop teams because their district isn't rich enough to have a turf field.

FANOSPORTS wrote: Mon Oct 19, 2020 1:09 pm Does Fairland have turf nowadays or still on grass ? That field was one of the worst in SEO for being uneven with peaks and valleys, divets, etc. and it didn't take much precipitation at all for it to easily become a mud pit years ago.
The field is still pretty rough, especially late in the season. Probably little or no grass left. Soccer game there tonight in the mud may help level it out
Well, that's the same field I remember then so if southern Ohio gets all the rain we're getting up around Columbus the next couple days I'll have to go with N-Y running in the mud instead of the Dragons and their passing capabilities. They would be much better on turf.

I feel that this will be a 3-4 score game... Fairland is good this year with their only loss coming from a tough galia team. That loss only coming by a few points in what I think is the best ballgame I’ve seen in the past several years!!!
People are slacking on Fairlands run defense, they’ve been amazing all year!! Their last 2 games have been against a run oriented Rock Hill team and the Fairland varsity has held them to 0 points in both games.
Fairland has WEAPONS on offense! Several dominate receivers, a hard running rb, a young line, with a good Qb.
The defense is even stronger, this interior unit is nothing to joke about!!! They’re tough on the run game! The line is a unit with and injured senior coming back they’ll be even better! The linebackers are tough!!
NYs run defense is not that good, I feel that if Fairland runs they’ll be dominate, even if NY does something different on defense Fairland will just throw and screen the defense to death...
Final: Fairland 42 NY 8

Glad to hear the senior big man is getting back on the field for Fairland. Very polite young man when I spoke with him briefly at Gallia. Good luck to both teams but I have to go with Fairland. Dragons can run the ball and their defense is solid. Missed tackles cost them the GA game. Excellent coaching staff!! Hope all the covid distraction doesn’t effect their play.

NY will definitely needs its best game to win this one. Fairland looks very sound on both sides of the ball. Will be tough but the bucks will be ready!

Rock Hill is terrible. The fact that you held them to zero yards is irrelevant.
I'll give credit where credit is due though. Fairland has some speed and a very good running back.
Nelsonville-York has a solid defense and the offense has gotten better by the week.
If I were to predict who would win it wouldn't be 42-8....
Good luck Saturday night.

Heard some key Fairland players are out due to covid so if that's true I'll take Nelsonville in this one even though they hate playing on dead grass and mud. :D

Missed/broken tackles. Players were in position most plays. Haven’t seen NY this year. Didn’t predict any wild score. Also didn’t know Fairland had players missing or if that’s the case. Their d is better than the score represents.

I don't believe for a second fairland will blow out Ny 42-8 .
Ny losses came to #1 Trimble that would definitely make as much trouble as anyone fairland has faced. I like NY chance of knocking of the dragons and moving a step closer to the goal

Trimble is one of the top D7 teams in the state, and NY almost won that game.

Right? Do other football teams really worry about getting dirty?
