Midland is ranked 4th in their conference ( msac) Huntington & Spring Valley & South Charleston all rank ahead of them. South Charleston has multiple D1 recruits for 2nd season in a row.
Midland is not ranked in top 5 in wv in AAA.
Huntington beat Midland late in the game week 2. Midland dominated the game though. Midland will end up playing in state championship. Mark it down!

Ironton did infact use some tempo tonight. Hope that continues. One criticism I have of seo football is how sluggish and slow the game becomes at times. If your offense can use tempo while spreading the ball around you can really catch teams asleep because the sluggish slow style of play has been so conditioned. I'd like to see this continue. Ironton has a lot of options on offense. Playing and executing at a faster pace makes sense.
