NY could be a sleeper team to make the regional final. Would have to avoid Fort Frye to do so. It is along ways out but I feel good about NY early on. Think Fort Frye wins the region as of now

Bellaire is a year late in joining the D6 R23 party. Last year's team could have really done some damage in this region. Unfortunately they had D6 enrollment numbers last year, but we're frozen in D5 because of the 3-year cycle. They are well stocked at the skill positions, and with a new offensive minded coaching staff, will score points. If defense and o-line comes around, they could still be a factor.

Right. Losing people happens every year in high school football. It isn't about what you lose. It's about what you return. The kids who have been in West Jeffeson's system for 2-3 years of high school football can probably be better than 80% of Region 23 by week 11.

I don’t think it would be outrageous to say WJ is already better than 80% of Region 23.
