That's a long bus ride for River so who knows. Did they ever play before?
Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong, but just off top of my head, I recall Trimble playing them in 2008 and took a beating 45-15 in the playoffs.
Other than us not getting the playoff points from a Trimble win, I would like to see River double that 2008 score on them. Hopefully River will leave the starting defense in to preserve the shutout. It's high time Trimble gets to feel what it's like to have the score run up on them and excuses about, well we had two backups in on defense in the 4th Qtr and well we were working on our passing game in the second half while we were all ready up bye 50. Here's to hoping for a running clock.
Hate us because you ain’t us bud. It’s ok. Everybody is going to have a down year from time to time. I can accept that, can you?

The opportunity to play in the Region 27 finals game is wide open. The region itself, however, isn’t.

River has so many weapons. Some really good backs and WRs. River Thompson is like 6-4 and hard to guard.

I believe 107.7 will be airing NY vs. NC and 103.9 should be Trimble vs. River

If I had to make a bet right now, I would feel pretty strong with betting River will take Region 27. Could be wrong, I’ve been know to be wrong before. Could come down to Shadyside and River.

Shadyside is out of the equation. They’re having a ton of issues right now: the biggest one is that Mark Holenka stepped down a few weeks ago.

Ouch. Wasn’t aware of that.

Adding to the Shadyside woes they lost their top RB to injury in the loss to Ferry last week, possibly season ending. They have a good QB and possibly the best or at least one of the best receivers in the Region , 6’5 Brock. Only dressing 22 players at this time .

Would love to see River win Region 27 (I am a grad) but I believe this is Newark C. Region to lose.

My apologies. Definitely overlooked them. From the sounds of it, NC is the real deal up 35-0 on NY right now.
