Western Brown has a far superior QB than Ironton does, Jackson's offense has cranked it up this year looks like they're doing a bit more passing themselves but are they getting away from who they truly are? Look for another close game but I like Western Brown by 2 scores in this one, 49-35.
I agree with you especially with the Ironmen's inability to somewhat be able to control WB's passing game. I hope I'm wrong, but I think the Ironmen will need to score a boatload of points to be able to have a chance to win this game.

After seeing Western in person a few weeks ago definitely a winnable game for Jackson . They will need to keep Novak off the field and limit his damage. Hes going to get his I do not think Jackson can stop him he is the real deal but if they limit him and win the scoring battle they will be alright. Although easier said then done lol.

Good Luck Ironmen hope you get the win should be a good game

Jackson fumbles alot . I mean ALOT , also lots of driving killing penalties and and a lot of holding penalties. Defense is pretty solid. But until this team cleans up it’s penalties and turnovers every game will be a toss up.

Nope, not happening. Too much on the line. This game will be tight.

Western Brown is state ranked #4 in D3…but Circleville is #11 so they have some things to work out in that poll.

Would love to see the Ironmen pull this one off but unfortunately I feel like WB will be too much. I say WB wins, 49-35. This is the game of the week IMO, still debating on making the trip to watch this one.

This just might be the game the Ironmen put a complete game in the books. Going into the playoff at 8 & 2.

No chance at all for the FAC to beat Jackson?
WCH, Chilly?

If they beat WB and continue similar play….no

If they play Chilly and WCH like they have played with 5 turnovers a game….they’ll be the underdog

Haven’t turnovers been a theme for Jackson over the years especially early on?

Not too bad that I can remember in recent year. This year has been brutal. Multiple turnovers a game and in the most crucial times in a game

Chilli is the favorite as of right now , Jackson and courthouse are neck and neck. Chilli has the talent and Jackson at home. It’s theirs to lose.

In 2020 thru 3 games Jackson had 8 fumbles and lost 3 of them and had 5 total turnovers

In 2021 thru 3 games Jackson had 8 fumbles and lost 5 for 5 total turnovers

I don’t have this year’s cumulative stats

Lol. IMO, right now any of those 3 could win it. Should be great games coming down the stretch that I didn't think would be in the FAC preseason. Fun to watch.

1. Chillicothe
2. Jackson
3. Courthouse

Those were my preseason rankings and still feel same way based on weeks 1-3. Could be some upsets though.

Thanks that’s what I thought fumbling has been a major issue last few years. Can’t average almost 3 fumbles a game going to make any game tough especially once it starts to bounce the other way. Strange thing about that is you can’t even pin point 1 player having the issue with going back to 2020.
