Personally I would like to see Ironton open up the playbook a little more. Felt that it is very vanilla after seeing them play Cabell Midland. It does work no doubt about it but I feel they can do more with what they have

As for this game, Ironton will be tested unlike what they have faced thus far. Wheelersburg and Jackson put up a fight for a half but didn’t have the horses to run for the whole game. Cabell quit about 15 seconds in. This team beating Benedictine proved they were no joke.

Gotta imagine home field + no 9 hour drive is a massive edge here. Bottom line is these are the types of teams Ironton will need to beat to get to and be victorious in Canton so it’s a very important test.

None from River Valley or South Gallia none from any surrounding school.
Your having a down year period and when you do face Ironton you will lucky its not a running clock in the first quarter.

Portsmouth will beat you.
Fairland will beat you.
Rockhill will beat you.
Cheasapeake will more than likely beat you.
Your lone OVC win maybe South Point and you throw shade on Ironton.
About transfers yeah maybe you should start scheduling Div VII teams and least you could go 8-2 if the ball bounces right

A have to agree transfers are the way it is now. Look at college these kids jump from school to school. Kids are going to go where they can get exposure. That’s an area other coaches need to be more involved in. I wish there was a no transfer rule and you played in the hometown you grew up in but that’s not how it is.
