Re: Pioneer Valley Conf 2013
Several PVC teams still in contention for playoff spots. Caldwell has games against West M and Shenandoah remaining, and they currently sit at 6th in region 25. Fort Frye sits in the 8 spot of region 21, and are basically at the mercy of other teams. Frontier would need to beat MC this week in order to have a shot at the playoffs, while MC controls their own destiny according to Mr. Eitel. Win, and they're in.
Re: Pioneer Valley Conf 2013
My predictions are MC and Caldwell in and Fort Frye has to have Cbus Academy lose for them to get in. No way Frontier beats MC so they are out. It really doesn't matter if fort gets in because they will drive 2 hours and lose by 40 or 50 to Bishop Ready. Caldwell sets in the 5 spot but will get jumped by Malvern if Malvern wins out. I think Caldwell and MC. have a shot depending on where they fall in the seeding. Caldwell could get as high as the 3 seed but Scc would have to lose its last 2 games, Which are undefeated Madonna and Magnolia and Sothern lose to trimble. If Caldwell gets the 3 or 4 seed then they have a shot but I think if they fall to 5 or 6 seed they will get beat. Mc has a shot if they can play Bellaire but if not they will probably play valley and lose.

Re: Pioneer Valley Conf 2013
Two out of the three PVC teams still alive in the playoffs. Fort Frye bowed out to Valley, while Caldwell and MC picked up upset wins over Malvern and Centerburg. Solid performances for both teams. Last week was Caldwell's first ever playoff victory. They will take on Shadyside this coming week while MC takes on Bishop Ready. I'd say it's a solid showing for the conference. Don't think to many people thought the PVC would field that many playoff teams, let alone had them picked to win those games.
