I would suggest those making that sort of comment has never played a down of football at the varsity level.

true nuff.
if you are afraid and playing football. you'll get hurt. if you are talking to me about varsity football. I played like 4th grade through 10th. we had a frosh team so I was only on the varsity team one year. tore my knee out. went to the vocational school my junior and senior year. and became a welder. in 1980 I was making 11.79 an hour at national mines a year after I graduated. so I hope that helps.i've never ever claimed to be a stud at sports. but I know football. I got a lot of playing time as a sophomore. but was not a starter at 5-8 180, as an interior linemen. amongst the dinosaurs we had then. and I have overcome anorexia. sometimes some of the best football minds were not the greatest of athletes. I'm not claiming that either. but I know football.
