Would love to see Trimble get a shot at revenge on Green.

Revenge from 1989, Green won 43-22, Green was up 43-0
after 3 quarters, Green put their 2nd string in the 4th quarter
Trimble left their starters in and score 22 points.

My guess is revenge from 97, when Green came in having lost around 30 games in a row and broke that streak against Trimble

I think Green/Lucas & FC/Trimble is what’s more likely.

I’m sure Trimble has some revenge for FC, too... if we go there, if blessed enough to make week 11 in the first place.

Most definitely, Trimble hasn't forgot about 03 and 04

If Green makes the playoffs I don't care who they play,
win or lose, it will be great for the kids.

Yes. Trimble had to leave their starters in because they only dressed 15 that night. But they were 15 of the toughest SOBs you'll ever meet.

This was in 1989 first round of the playoff, both teams were 10-0, Trimble had more than 15 players. The game was played at Athens High School. Trimble had finished first in the region, and Green was 4th. back then only the top 4 teams in the region made the playoffs.

Green did knock Randy Hixson and the Tomcats out in Basketball this winter.

Thoughts on upcoming games in week 9:
1. HP hosts FC: FC is sitting 7th & a win would all but lock them in to week 11. Does FC have enough to knock off HP? :?:
2. Lucas hosts River: Lucas is hot but River's playoff life is on the line and all their losses are to good teams. Does River have enough to win? :?:
3. Southern hosts Trimble: Southern just lost handily to Waterford on the road & like River, they're playing for a ticket to the post season. Do they have anything for Trimble? :?:

Cub fans will be rooting for FC, but looking at their schedule, I do not believe they have enough to beat Prep.

Lucas owes River one after last year's screwing at their place. Worst officiated game I have ever seen in my life. At any level. In saying that, my predication on that game...Lucas 44, River 6

Trimble rolls Southern. This region is a three horse race.

What is up with Green's schedule? #108 out of 108 in Division 7?

If FC would knock off HP this week, that would make things real interesting!

Agreed. An HP loss and a Lucas win would bump Lucas to #1. Maybe for good (even with a loss in week 10).
