For those that don't know Marion Local is the same league as Coldwater, Minster and Ft. Recovery. Their league is 10-4 in state championship games since 2013. One loss came when two of the teams meet in the Finals. One loss was to Canton Central Catholic. The other two are to Kirtland.
Superman: This is from page 5 of this thread. I have the MAC as 10-3 since 2013. I can’t find your reference to when 2 MAC teams played in the State Finals. I have their losses to Canton Central Catholic, Kirtland and Warren JFK.LucasDavenport wrote: ↑Thu Nov 15, 2018 10:28 pm This will be the first time since Ohio went to 7 divisions in football (2013) that the MAC has not placed a team in the State Finals in Division 7.
The MAC has 2 schools left — both in D6 R24. Coldwater and Marion Local.
Minster lost to Convoy Crestview in Week 12
St Henry lost to Coldwater in Week 12
Anna lost to Elyria Catholic in Week 11.
Anna is in the MAC in football only. New Knoxville has soccer and not football and is in the MAC in every sport but football.

Ohio Top 6 All time leaders in Winning Percentage
1) Marion Local 74-10 .881
2) Delphos St Johns 54-12 .818
3) Coldwater 73-17 .811
4) St Henry 45-11 .804
5) Cleveland St Ignatius 72-18 .800
6) Versailles 45-12 .790
The MAC is 14-5 since 2010 with 2 of the losses coming to Kirtland.
Even more impressive is their State Semi Record since 2010: The MAC is 19-2 in State Semis and those 2 losses were self inflicted as Marion Local defeated Delphos St Johns twice in State Semis (2011: 21-14 and 2013: 35-6)
Our friends from McComb know the strength of The MAC very well as they account for 3 of the 19.
2012: Marion Local 34 McComb 28 State Semi
2015: Fort Recovery 35 McComb 14 State Semi
2016: Minster 27 McComb 23 State Semi
This might be why they are feeling a little frisky this year as The MAC is not in their path.
