I’m just glad Ironton finally won it all.
The talk of recruiting is going to always be there and other non sense
Now at least they can say at least we won’t it regardless if the would have lost it would have been the same maybe even worse than the 3 state games before that

The move ins we had were from WV & Scioto County. We prefer the term “State Champion Southern Ohio All-Stars.”

Does your coach still shy away from Coal Grove players since the whoopin the CG coach put on him a few years ago?

Can’t speak, we don’t talk about Coach Bruno.

Sorry, that was the last Coach, Pendleton hasn’t lost to Coal Grove, he’s actually destroyed them.

Then we need to drop your scared butts. The Wheelersburg Yellow Pirates.
Ironton can’t afford to drop Burg. Ironton has no leverage and is desperate for games; especially big money making games. Pendleton is lucky that Burg hasn’t dropped Ironton at this point. That would be a big financial hit to Ironton while also contributing to their scheduling woes.

Too bad Ironton alienated Ashland. That game would be great to have at this moment. Ironton better hope Gallia and Fairland don’t make changes. Lose those two and Burg, Ironton will be hurting.
Hate to tell you, but Wheelersburg is not The Biggest game Ironton Can get for a Big money Gate.
Burg fans didnt fill up the visitor bleaches at South Point when they got smoked by Ironton. They didn’t even fill their own bleachers week 1 against Ironton. Pendleton has broke them. You cant deny this! I wish Ashland would agree to play Ironton again, they refuse though.

i'm so proud that the fighting tigers won their 3rd state championship. so many have no idea how nearly impossible to even get to one. ironton has been to 12, and won 3. but that alone is incredible. ironton and cincy moeller are tied for the most years in the playoff with 40 each. and i thank all of ironton's opponents this year. it was so fun. and it's so cool to bring another state title to ironton. coach pendelton and his staff have revived the tradition at ironton. and has it again on a roll.

Doubt he would be interested in any coal grove players. Unless they were short players on the jv team

it's crazy what open enrollment has done for high school football. it's like the transfer portal in college. and it happens everywhere.

What actually allegedly happened. For several years people post on here that a certain coach tried to get physical with pendleton. Not knowing either one personally but knowing Pendletons background I would have to guess it wouldn't end well for anyone that tried that.
