Let me apologize for failing to attend Logan v Circleville, My company which I own had a production related problems. Anyway our local so called paper did not even have anything about the game, I know it does not count But even a couple lines on the web would have been nice!

They dominated this scrimmage last year and I had to eat crow because I boldly predicted Logan would be vastly improved from the year before,so I didn't think I better attend this year  I will attend this week, can't wait to see that beautiful new field over there in the corn.

Or until Nelsonville.....better show something soon. My patience is wearing thin. This school should dominate the SEOAL- no excuses.

Dazed,

This is a make or break year for most all of our sports programs. There is no excuse for our Chiefs finish no less than 2 or maybe 3rd place in all sports. As far as football goes with the talent in our school system we should never have a 1-9 record!
I feel in order to continue with the current football program a winning record must occur this year and continue for the future. Yes I understand once in a great while we might finish below 500 but we should bounce back the next year!

Don't know if anyone has the info--but Logan and Jackson are one and two in football titles.

My question is ---when Logan was running their streak of titles where was Jackson finishing each year?

Just a quick guess they finished 2nd or 3rd and then as they fell backwards they made a change from one of there own to an outsider! There record speaks for Coach Hall!

In 2002 that would have had only two team finishing behind them

In 2006 that would have them last

In 2008 that would have had three team behind them

I guess what I'm getting at is---even the best can finish towards the bottom

I think it was 4ever from Gallipolis that said " Logan is on top now but it will not last"

Logan will be back and when that happens some other teams will be down---it just happens.

A person who attended this past Friday at Circleville relayed that the Chiefs are strong up the middle but very slow outside and needs improvment in the pass defense!

I don't know much about this team. I keep hoping for signs that things are improving. I have my season tickets and will be in the stands cheering every Friday night. I hope this team plays with their hair on fire. But I need to see some signs that the team wants to win worse than anything. A few years ago the Chiefs went through the non-conference schedule with a chip on their shoulder. The SEOAL was a speed bump. They can't have fallen that far for three years in a row. I'm no coach. I'm not an insider. But something is amiss here.

From my latest e-mail it looks like Logan's sports editor might be telling us bad boys that for being bad we do not get a report on the Round Town scrimmage.

Better turn that memo over the next time????????????????
