Re: D5 R19 #6 Ridgewood @ #3 Wheelersburg
depends on who has applied for a playoff game. i dont know if logan or ny has applied but i i would expect they would have. i would just as soon go to ny on friday night and saturday night. pretty good parking and seating. i thought the ny people did a great job there last year. it seemed like i was there 3 times last year.
Re: D5 R19 #6 Ridgewood @ #3 Wheelersburg
The game was not as close as the final score might indicate. Burg could of easily had 2 more TDs. The QB sneak from the 1 should have been called off. The coach or QB should have called a T.O. to change the play. The Generals had 4 men over our center...they knew what was coming.
I think Ridgewoods' cupcake schedule really showed tonight. I doubt they would have been much better than 6-4 playing Burgs schedule.

Congrats to the GENERALS on a great season. I know they dont sked cupcakes. Just some yrs it falls that way. To the Burg, the defense did a real good job containing that Jet, and also some misdirection. Again, some of those passing plays were killing Burg. But the Generals added little twists to there passing attack. It was fun to watch. Also, #44 for RW is only a Jr. OUCH. Seems like he played against Burg in 07!! I know he was in there last yr against the Falcons!!!! Good luck to the Generals next yr and Burg, put the hammer to the Freddies!!

Pedan stadium should be open. Bobcats play last two games away. Would be awesome place to play.

Nice to see respect from the Burg...shoulda been worse, score wasnt as close as game really was, Ridgewood would have been 6-4 with burgs schedule etc.
Give me a break. Ridgewood battled and played a solid game. Schank got lose 3 times 40 yd pass and 2 runs over 40 yards. Kid was the difference in the game. Wood did a nice job containing him for 22 out of his 24 carries, players like that just eventually make big plays.
Unlike Burg posters, I will show some class, good luck next week and beyond.

Wow! Welcome to Pirate Land Ozzie!!! Nice win last night by the Pirates. Good luck to all the southern Ohio teams remaining in the playoffs.
Re: D5 R19 #6 Ridgewood @ #3 Wheelersburg
Not sure were all the "could have been much worse" comments are coming from, but I thought this game was very even, with Shank being the difference. Ridgewood may have went to the misdirection and pass a little too late. I thought Ridgewood's smaller D-Line held their own against the Burg for most of the game. Shank was by far the best player on the field, and that was the difference. I have watched F-Town once this year, and the Burg will have their hands full. I would say they are similar to Ridgewood, but MUCH bigger, and maybe a little quicker. Shank will be the best player on the field again, but will it be enough??? Should be a good one.

Anyone know just how far Schankweilers last TD run actually was? The PDT's listed it as 36 yards and I could have sworn they were on their own side of the 50 at the time. We were thinking it was from the 41 which would make it 59 yards, but it may have actually been on the Burg 36 which would make it 64 yards. Anyone know for sure?

The Coshocton Tribune has it listed as 64 yrds by what their saying?Burg_Grad_77 wrote:Anyone know just how far Schankweilers last TD run actually was? That's what I thought. It was from the 36 yard line, just the one that is 64 yards from the endzone, not the one 36 yards from it like the PDT's reported. I wonder if they actually got his total yardage right? They had it listed at 157 I believe. I wonder if it should have 28 more added to it?

Imagine that? they have QB shears almost 100 yrds less on his passing yrds total for the
season, and shanks total is off as well! they both don't add up..
