Don't matter about the schedule the ghost doesn't play from the teams you beat or lost to do they.
It is the team on the field and who prepares better and plays better that wins period.

Guys I went to the D1 game between Massilon and Whitmore up here in Mansfield and I have to say It was like a college atmosphere!! Fans were awsome from both sides shame it was a blowout and thats the 1st time I have seen Arlin Field standing room only. In my humble opinion after what I watched tonight if Massilon was that bad or Whitmore is that good but they have an unbelievable offense. I am not sure if Ignatius or Colerain or whoever they get can stop that offense. Whitmores offense is like watching Oregon just so fast and never stop and athletes everywhere, just a great night for football and hoping I can get 1 more playoff game here at Arlin.

Congrat's to LU on the regional title. LU created 2 turnovers in the red zone and Valley made too many mistakes to win. Another great year for Valley and their senior class. As was the case last year, take a couple of weeks off and start hitting the weight room.

First off...CONGRATS to LU on the title. CONGRATS to Valley on a GREAT season...which no one expected. The Indians had 4 turnovers and another on downs inside the LU 30. You cant do that and win a region. I thought a huge turning point was obviously the 80 yard scoop and score with under a minute in the half. Just too many mistakes as mentioned. Very proud of what the young men for what they have accomplised the past 2 seasons.

Also wanna say it was cool to see a lot of area schools supporting the Indians!

LU may have won the region, but they are in trouble at the next level. They were lucky to play in the weakest region in ths state.

Valleys future is very bright. I see them being back here again next year. Lot of talent left. This years addition of seniors did a great job carrying the torch and were great leaders. Congrats Valley on another great season. Keep your heads up.

Face it.............. the truth hurts , doesn't it...............lol. The other regions are head and shoulders over your area.

If you won't do anything about it, live with it.

I feel sick for the Valley kids... I've seen them play once when I came down to visit family in Southern Ohio and I've seen Kirtland play. Haven't seen Coldwater play but I'm assuming they are the favorites going forward but I know for a fact the Valley kids could play with the Kirtland kids and give them all they wanted. Tough loss tonight and I was pulling for them hard to see them get a chance at one of the states best regardless of who it was if OHSAA decided to re-seed. SEO football is not dead it might be down, but it's not dead.. the programs are too proud and the communities are too strong. You can't get me to believe for a second that Ironton, Wheelersburg, Valley, Minford, Portsmouth, and West (if I forgot any of the real good programs down there I apologize) won't have very good football teams into the future. Northern Ohio teams might have better scheduling, might have more resources, but the effort and heart of the schools in Southern Ohio is second to none! Valley carried the torch for Southern Ohio this year, and next year it might be someone else... but you have nothing to be ashamed of at all. Great season, you fought for an entire region!

I look for Kirtland to beat LU, easy and then face Coldwater for the title. That should be a competitive game. Coldwater has a slight edge.

Congrats to Liberty Union on the win. They clearly played better overall football tonight and earned the win. Best of luck to the Lions next week.

Valley, keep your chin up fellas! It's gonna sting tonight and you're gonna become numb by it too. At some point you'll be ready to move forward and you'll appreciate what you've accomplished this year as much as we, your fans, appreciate all that you gave us this year. My hat goes off to you guys!!

WOW...2 years in a row SOC 2 Championships, 2 year Back to Back 10-0 Seasons, 2 years in a row Playoff appearances, 2 years in a row to the Regional Championship game and also finishing at 12-1 each season. Not to shabby for a bunch of young men that some folks thought would never reach such a feat. I for one believed that this goal would be reached and it was, I also had my hope that they would win tonite, but that wasn't to be. As a father of a senior starter for the Indians, watching the past 2 seasons, I myself couldn't have been anymore prouder than the effort that this team has put forth tonite and the past two seasons at Valley. I'd like to thank Coach Crabtree & coaching staff for their efforts in building a "ROCK SOLID" program that will last for several years to come. I for one believe that this isn't the last we all will here from this "TRIBE OF INDIANS" in their quest to repeat as "CHAMPIONS" of the Southern Region of the State. I'd like to say, THANKS SENIORS for an EXCELLANT SEASON and mak'n me ........"ONE DAM PROUD INDIAN FATHER"......The Best is yet to come........ 2013 ROLL TRIBE ROLL!!!!! :aaaaa58

Proud of the Indians, but disappointing that the same issue put them in a position to fight uphill battles both in the 2011 and this season's regional championship game.

Great people all around the entire program, but giving up a 27-7 lead last year and on-side kicks to open the game and with 6 minutes remaining to give LU a short field, blew my mind.

I'll always be an Indian supporter, just would love to see the next step for the kids, coaches, and community, and now that it seems the Wheelersburg "monkey" is off our back, let's get the regional championship "monkey" too!

I was looking around because we were told that Valley would really pack em in last night and there were lots of empty seats where I was sitting!

Once again NY was able to host and provided plenty of room to sit and plenty of restroom facitly's and great food!!

It was a good games. Valley made it interesting toward the end of the game.
Valley was gassed at halftime and that was the difference in the game. They were just to tired to sustain long drives in the second half.
Good luck to Liberty Union next week.

Where were you sitting? We came in at 6:20 and there were NO seats on the Valley or LU side except for the taped off band areas, which we had to stand at the top of.
