Totally disagree. When the opponent turns it over 4 times and still wins by three scores, demonstrates that they are not good enough to win the game.

Technically it was only a two score game. But you are right we had to many missed oppurtunities.

37 minus 21 equals 16. That is 2 scores! So now that we covered basic math if you want to call a 2 score game that was hard fought by both teams to the end a blow out go ahead.

If wouldn't have put their jv in... Yes it was a blowout! West has a bright future but last night they were out matched in every aspect.

My math is fine. 2 scores is 12 points. Everything after that is called extra.

Wheelersburg beat us last night. They were much bigger and as fast; if not faster. West competed well but had too many missed opportunities to pull the upset. West had to play a perfect game and didn't. Kudos to Wheelersburg for that.

If it matters it was a 16 point game. Not close, but hardly a blowout.

West played near perfect ball last night. Burg's D just shut everything down before momentum could swing. Great game by West. Burg was just too much at the point of attack on both sides of the ball.

No blow out for sure but I stand by it would take three scores to win. And it was pointed out that west picked up a late fumble.

Not sure about all that, but I saw west struggle during the entire game. Whether you think west played poorly or burg won in all areas of game, is up to opinion.

Yikes I would rather go to round ball than play Hartley. Practice all week to take a mauling. Nah.Just let Eastmoor take the mauling. :|

What do you consider a blow out?? Burg did not play a perfect game at all with 4 turnovers .. West played the Best that they could, they were just up against a better and stronger Line.. Up by 24 points with 3 minutes to go with scond string for Burg in.. Burg was on West 40 and would have scored again if the wanted...

Wow...Burg Rushing 406 yards vs West 157 yards....

I apologise to west posters. I do think the way the game went from kickoff to the final whistle the West team did a good job. Burg was a better team last night but West showed a good game plan and did their best. And the whole of the West players were very disciplined and very hard nosed (like I know they would be). I congratulate the way the game ended and look for it to continue in this rivalry. Good luck to West vs Hartley!!!

And you call yourself a West fan? You must have forgotten when West went to the finals they were a 8 seed that year too. I'm not saying we are going to the finals but I'm not saying we ain't either. There is a reason the games are played. Any week you could have a 8 beat a one or a 0-9 beat a 9-0. If you would rather get the round balls out instead of keep playing and taking a shot at the best team in the region, then evidently you never played the game. I've never meet anyone who has ever play this game(The greatest game ever played) who would not do anything to have played one more game.
