i think are numbers are close to the same but i am using week 10 divisors and have points teams guaranteed added in. st. clairsville has several guaranteed points.
if portsmouth west wins against fairland and loses to wheelersburg i have them at a final minimum of 13.35 31.5l1 102l2. if liberty union meets fairfield union and loses to circleville i have them at 13.55 29.5l1 106 l2. then liberty union would have an opportunity of 45.5 extra l2 points in week 9 they could get berne union 4 lakewood 5 bloom carroll 5 logan elm 5 fairfield union 6. in week 10 berne union 3.5 lakewood 6 bloom carroll 5 logan elm 6. portsmouth west can only attain another 32.5 level 2 points out of week 9 and and 10. week 9 portsmouth 5 rock hill 4.5 south point 4 waverly 0.5 valley 4.5. in week 10 portsmouth 5.5 rock hill 4 valley 1.0 and waverly 4.5. portsmouth west would need to out gain liberty union by 2.5 second level points to move into 8th spot. i started this spread sheet last week i could of made mistakes i will double check as week goes on.

this region is more than likely going to finish this way!!

1-2 hartley / burg (hartley 1st with win this week)
3 st clairsville
4 ironton ( will move to spot 6 with loss to raceland)
5 coshocton
6 martin ferry
7 eastmoor
8 ports west / liberty union (this assumes both these have 1 more loss)

this counts for burg winning last 2 games

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
if west would beat burg they would only go to spot 6 and only spot 5 with a week 10 ironton loss to raceland

burg would drop to 3-4-5 pending ( ironton , coshocton games)

a ironton win over jackson would trump all the above

a week 9 liberty union win over circleville would throw above off also

so therefore its not to far fetched of an idea that (burg/ironton/p west) 2 of those 3 could play each other in week 11

m.ferry-st clairsville-coshocton-eastmoor should win last 2 games!!

Drew Pasteur projects the following:

1 ) Wheelersburg (9-1) 26.07
2 ) Bishop Hartley (Columbus) (7-3) 25.92
3 ) Ironton (7-2) 23.66
4 ) St Clairsville (10-0) 23.65
5 ) Coshocton (9-1) 19.85
6 ) Martins Ferry (9-1) 18.38
7 ) Eastmoor Academy (Columbus) (8-2) 15.51
8 ) Liberty Union (Baltimore) (6-4) 14.95

I like the Ironton Martians ferry 1st round match up.
Wheelersburg rematch could be a super game to look forward to.
When Ironton plays Jackson this Friday it will tell a lot how far Ironton has come since the 1st game of the season

That would be good because that would be the regional final

i would say ironton best week 11 scenario is

1 coshocton @ ironton
2 ports west @ ironton OR
3 ironton @ st clairsville

i am predicting 1 of those 3 outcomes

slight chance for a eastmoor or m.ferry @ ironton

If Ironton loses to jackson and then beats Raceland if you crunch the numbers they end up 2nd. I think West ends up a 9th and barely misses playoffs. Burg if they lose to Valley ends up a 4th seed. Of course this all depends on who wins and loses in the next 2 weeks.

if st clairsville and burg both win last 2 and L2 go their way i have both them higher than a 7-2 TIGER team!

i think burg best chance at loss is against p west !! they would drop to 3-4-5 pending (ironton , coshocton games and L2 points)

hopefully your right and they lose to valley also LOL

I think Ironton finishes 3rd unless the beat Jackson then they may finish higher.
Regardless this is a team I believe very few want to face in the first round.
Wheelersburg game was a good game till after the half then it was all Burg.
Ironton is a much different team since then.
Mistakes as in penalties is still a problem but this is a team filled with confidence and the St. Charles game showed they do not give up.
Jackson will be a true test for this team no doubt but this is a team very few want in the first round I believe.

I agree. Ironton has definitely improved since week 1 but I think if Ironton can't compete with Jackson it doesn't bode well for much Fighting Tiger success in the playoffs.

And speaking of playoffs...
I believe Ironton has faced Wheelersburg, Hartley, St. Clairsville, Coshocton, Martins Ferry, and Portsmouth West in past playoffs.

Thats not going to happen but we have the indians to worry about this week!

If West gets Waverly, Portsmouth, and Valley wins next week, they will catch Eastmoor even with a loss.
