According to drew Pasteur Burg strength of schedule this year is D5 57 out of 107
Ironton strength of schedule this year is D5 83 out of 107. It is my duty to inform you that you are obviously mistaken. That is all.

Throw the records out, strength of schedule means nothing, blah blah blah, its all pointless. 2 Traditional powerhouses will collide, Ironton wins in a close one.

If ironton can lay off the penalties in this one I think it's a close ball game. 14-14 going into the 4th then Ironton pulls away with a 21-14 upset. Desmond Young player of the game.

i would expect ironton to play their best game of the year. its week 11 thats how it should be but they dont have enough to stay with wheelersburg for 4 quarters. not sure of the score and i wont make a prediction other than to say it will not be as close as week 1.

Re: 11/07 week11 ironton 6-4 @ burg 10-0
I'm only doing one prediction on this game and this is it: Tigers come out fired up and the Burg is over confident and the Tigers jump out 21-0 real quick. The Burg regains their composure and middle of the 2nd quarter they score, but miss the extra point. Then the Tigers answer with another TD. It's 28-6 at halftime. Then second half the Burg starts to come back they score and score and score it's 29-28 Burg with 6 mins to go in the game. Burg has all the momentum and the Tigers line up and do a typical Ironton drive 6 min drive eating up clock and yards. Then with 10 seconds left the Tigers call last timeout and send in the kicker to try a 37 yard field goal. When it's over one group of fans in orange and black are celebrating and one team in orange and black is crying. That's how it's going to go or maybe not. Not really sure.
Re: 11/07 week11 ironton 6-4 @ burg 10-0
If ironton scores that many, then go ahead a reserve your spot at Columbus. Burg as many as they want. Ironton fans will understand what burg fans have been trying to explain to the masses. This defense is legit with a ton of depth. The offense is beginning to look like last years. I'm very honest in what I see. I've watched both teams play three times. Burg is better in all aspects of the game. Congrats for the tigers on winning the ovc and making the playoffs but it's as far as they go.

Wheelersburg is one heck of a team, but If any one can compete it is Ironton. Both teams have improved tremendously, but Ironton is out for blood after that penalty ridden first game.

Re: 11/07 week11 ironton 6-4 @ burg 10-0
OK. I'm really asking a serious question here>>> How can Ironton beat Burg? I'm really just wondering what Ironton can do at this point in the season for you all to believe it's possible. Because for me and most other people in our area, don't think it will be much different from the last 3 games.
Re: 11/07 week11 ironton 6-4 @ burg 10-0
I've seen people saying Ironton has improved? I actually thought they regressed quite a bit. In game 1 you lose to Burg by 8, and 5 or so weeks later you beat Coal Gove by 2? I like the Ironton guys, but I just don't see it.

Re: 11/07 week11 ironton 6-4 @ burg 10-0
I dont think ironton has the offensive punch to match scores. Ironton will need to win all phases to have a chance and they dont come close in the coaching dept.
