the daily news had 46 and to interview and bring in 8 at a time

So they will interview 8 total of the 46 total applicants.

As of yesterday, As it was told to me; of the 46 applicants, 25 will be interviewed. They are interviewing in bulk to get the process done faster. There is a Top 25 as it were told to me.

I heard that the committee is getting ready to start the 2nd round of interviews! This process is being kept very quite, interesting!

46 applicants

8 were chosen for interviews - 4 of those took place last Thursday (Jan. 10), 4 of those took place this week.

I believe that some of those will be asked back for second interviews. The Board of Education meets on Jan. 28. I would imagine that it is in everyone's best interest to have a hire for approval that day.

My spy's confrimed your statments! although not sure how many will be back for the second round of interviews! I think the Jan 28th meeting might be rushing it a bit! Can always have a special meeting.

From a proceedural aspect, with 40 some applicants, you cut to a limited number based on their resume' and reccomendations. Eight sounds like it rather than 20 some. This is more managable to cut for second interviews, which I'd expect to be the top 2 or 3. Then selection moves quick to Board with recommendation for hire. Lococs probably has the straight facts. Been down this road before, so I know how the system works, lol
