Just noticed Coal Grove's schedule and all conference games start at 7 with all non-conf games starting at 7:30.

I've heard nothing but good things from Coal Grove's weightlifting and conditioning under first year coach Brian Kidd. People watching are saying they have never seen a Coal Grove team so close and together, pushing each other to the limit. I'm impressed. The kids are rallying behind Kidd and his staff, I'm looking for great things from Grove this year!

That's great to hear, I know emotions were on high in the village but as soon as the season starts I believe everyone will rally behind Coach Kidd and this team, its a new OVC and the only way this new conference is going to be any good is if Coal Grove stays close to or stays on the top of the league.

That's awesome, Tigers vs the Fighting Tigers.

Beechwood lost in the State semi finals last year to the State Champion Mayfield Cardinals 24-35 and finished the season at (11-3) losses MT Healthy, OH (D2- 12-1), Dixie Heights 6A State Runner Up (13-2), Mayfield 1A State Champions (14-1)

THE FIGHTING TIGERS HAVE SOME UNFINISHED BUSINESS WITH THEM FLOKS.

OVC is going to be tough in all sports.
Football will be greatly improved maybe more so in the future but Basketball and baseball is better now.
Ironton is going in as fav's no doubt but portsmouth and Coal Grove should be right there with Chesapeake sure to make some noise.
Fairland is in flux and South point should be improved and Rock Hill is just Rock hill.
And with Gallia Academy coming aboard that will only strengthen Football maybe not as strong as The SOC but who knows in a few years what may happen.
Overall the OVC made the right choice in expanding and looking at the future.
