Could not agree more. Hartley is peaking and I feel Ready may have packed it in a little.

I am going to start a thread for this region and all the scores that will affect it. So any team that your team beat, please post the scores in that thread. It will make it easier for me to update if Joe is running behind tonight.

If Centerburg and Monroe Central both win tonight, is there anyway that MC could jump Centerburg to clinch a home game at the number 4 seed??

Ahh MCdude, didn't you enjoy yourself the last time y'all made it up to Centerburg. lol

Per Crabs brother's post, presuming Centerburg & Monroe win, any of these teams losing tonight will affect 2nd level points and may change things up a bit.

Centerburg:

Lucas - this is bit of an unkown, but hoping for a W
Northmor - very likely to win
Highland - very likely to win

Monroe Central:

Fort Frye
Magnolia
Frontier

I think Monroe's 2nd level points are pretty much guaranteed. I don't see Fort Frye losing to Rosecrans. They would pass Centerburg if Allen East beats Lucas.

Ridgewood could also pass both if the above happens and Waynedale beats Smithville. Otherwise it would be #4 Centerburg, #5 MC and really close between NY and Ridgewood for #6. Ridgewood will also get 3.5 2nd level points from the East Canton/TCC game tomorrow night because they have beaten both. The FF/Rosecrans game is also tomorrow, so it will be late tomorrow night before we know for sure.

If Fort Frye can beat Zanesville Bishop Roscrans tomorrow then Monroe Central will move up to 5th and play 4th seeded Centerburg in a week 11 rematch. I think that's what we're all hoping for!

No, grandview is going to get points tomorrow too. MC is basically locked into the 6th seed.

How would that effect MC and Ridgewood? Even if Grandview moved up a spot..

Belpre @ Fredericktown- Freddies win with a running clock
Nelsonville-York @ Valley- Valley wins big
Monroe Central @ Grandview- M-Central in a tight one
Ridgewood @ Centerburg- Toss up. Going with R-Wood by one.

MC wont move up a spot. If you look at the averages. Ridgewood gets 2nd level tonight no matter what. Per joe, there is no scenario where MC passes RW.

I was sure hoping for the rematch. Focus now shifts to Ridgewood, I hear they're a talented bunch. Looks like there is going to be some good games next Friday night.

Good luck to MC, pretty sure Grandview is a running team, and I think they have dominated other run teams, but teams that can pass have hurt them.

Just glad we're playing in Lucasville. Valley hasn't had much luck in Nelsonville lately.

Matchups are set, here is my two cents:

Belpre @ Fredericktown- Freddies aren't good enough to have a "running clock" on any of the R21 play off teams, period. They do happen to have supporters that are very good at "feeding the media" and that's where misconceptions are construed. However, for those paying attention the Freddies have some serious issues. Not bitter or hating just telling it like it really is. I still think the Freddies prevail in this one, but if Belpre can play sound defense and try and limit Fredericktowns outstanding QB to be more of a passer/less runner, they've got a shot.

Nelsonville-York @ Valley- I'd say Lucasville Valley's talent, home field, and recent run of post season experience/success overwhelms a valiant NY effort.

Monroe Central @ Grandview- I say MC's play off experience and multi dimensional offense upsets Grandview.

Ridgewood @ Centerburg- This should be a very good game. Both teams operate their offenses w/ perfection. On film Ridgewood looks like they might have the biggest line in R21, their RB seems to have a nice burst. Centerburg has done well vs run first teams but Ridgewood will present a formidable challenge. Centerburg has a ton of skill guys that can hurt you, plays snap to whistle defense, and a speed advantage vs whomever. What I like about this game is both squads seem to be playing their best football right now, when it counts the most. As a Centerburg guy I will be pulling for the Trojans to take care of business and get to week 12.

Nice analysis dses. I agree with some of your predictions, but differ on some.

I think the Freddies take care of Belpre fairly easily, and it could be a running clock in the 2nd half. Belpre's level of competition in the regular season is underwhelming to say the least. Other than Trimble, the Freddies will be heads and shoulders better than any team Belpre has seen this year.

I think Valley's home field advantage and playoff experience win out, unless the NY team that showed up against Athens in the first half shows up in Lucasville Friday night. Then I think the Indians could have a real battle on their hands.

Talent wise I think MC and Grandview matchup pretty evenly, but I think Grandview takes this one with the home field advantage. But MC is very capable of the upset if they come in with the same mindset they did last year against Centerburg.

Looks like the seedings got it right for the Ridgewood/Centerburg matchup. I think this will be one of the games with 2 of the most evenly matched teams talent wise in all of Div. VI for a first round game. Centerburg's offense and playmakers look downright scary on film and Ridgewood's offense has only been stopped this year by self inflicted mistakes. Could very well be a shootout in Centerburg Friday night with the slight advantage for the home team. But if the game is still up for grabs in the 4th quarter then I think Ridgewood has the advantage with a deeper roster.

Hammer, good points. Really when making my assessment of Fredericktown it is based more on the amount of points they have given up, actually I haven't got real deep into it, but I'm pretty sure the 1 & 2 seeds are top 3 in points allowed amongst the playoff teams. I expect Lucasville to clean that up in the post season but not sure about the Freddies, it's just how they've played this year? I haven't dug too deep into Belpre and didn't realize they may have played a favorable schedule.

Centerburg v Ridgewood- I'm thinking this is going to be a real battle, I'm not sure I see a high scoring game both defenses are solid, but could go either way I suppose? Definite depth advantage to the Generals, like their QB, really like their RB, really, really like their Oline. Should be one heck of a ball game!

Don't understand how he can say that Fredricktown is that much better than Belpre when he probably hasn't seen either of them play.As far as the level of competition goes their schedule isn't any tougher than Belpre's with their oponnents record being 39-58 and Belpre's oponnents being 45-53.Fredricktown has scored 377 points and given up 203 while Belpre has scored 301 points and given up 175.I hope Fredriccktown underestimates Belpre as much as some of these people that has never seen them play do,they might get a big surprise .
