Ok, I’ll check back every year for the next 3, not to say I told you so.laser breath wrote: Sun Feb 23, 2020 5:16 pmGoBigI wrote: Sun Feb 23, 2020 5:12 pm The next 3 will be Ironton wins in this series. After that Ironton drops off quite a bit and Burg’s 8th grade looks very solid.
I’ll give you a slight edge this year but that’s pushing it.

Trust me I can handle it. The question is can you? Like I said I’ll give you lead way this year but it’s a short leash. I’m not going to be surprised at all if burg wins.GoBigI wrote: Sun Feb 23, 2020 8:25 pmOk, I’ll check back every year for the next 3, not to say I told you so.laser breath wrote: Sun Feb 23, 2020 5:16 pmGoBigI wrote: Sun Feb 23, 2020 5:12 pm The next 3 will be Ironton wins in this series. no, there is no chance, Ironton is going 0-10 and Burg is going 1-9, down years for both teams
Re: Ironton at Wheelersburg, 2020
I believe I can handle it just fine. This year I expect Ironton by 10-14 @ Burg in a hard hitting game. Next year’s game at Ironton will be a very tight one as both teams will be stacked. The following year at Burg I expect to be Ironton by 17+.laser breath wrote: Sun Feb 23, 2020 8:29 pmTrust me I can handle it. The question is can you? Re: Ironton at Wheelersburg, 2020
Who cares about three years from now? I think burg has a shot with it being at home. Carrico running the ball to me is more dangerous than him at linebacker. If Burg can hold ironton to under 150 yards team rushing for the night, they will have a shot. I think irontons defense won’t be as stout as last year. That d line was really good.

Irontons staff still has time to shore up that Dlinewobycat wrote: Mon Feb 24, 2020 9:20 pm Who cares about three years from now? I think burg has a shot with it being at home. Re: Ironton at Wheelersburg, 2020
Fosson and Jones will be tough to replace but Crawford and Cochran are back. Throw in Cecil, Boggs, Duncan, and Crabtree and the D-line will be a strength again in Ironton. The linebackers are all back with a couple of younger contributors ready to go. The secondary loses Salyers and Freeman but returns Howell, Hacker, and Carter.fbnut wrote: Tue Feb 25, 2020 7:03 amIrontons staff still has time to shore up that Dlinewobycat wrote: Mon Feb 24, 2020 9:20 pm Who cares about three years from now? Ironton is in fact not back, actually they are farther down the totem pole then most believe.. The baseball team isn't anything special, nor the softball team. Burg is still the most dominant school in Scioto County and always will be. 2019 Ironton 14-1 2017 Wheelersburg 15-0

what would a wheelersburg / ironton thread be like without 1357 posts from burg fans telling us how bad we are. some things never change.
