Way to go West. A dominating performance. Score could have/should have been worse. West had numerous long gains and a couple TD's called back on penalties. Minford has skilled players, they are just too soft/week up front. Now maybe West will get a little credit. Have they played anyone yet?

Now move on to next week and take car of business.

we won no thanks to the refs worst i have ever seen! west had 2 td called back and ended up with more than 140 yards in penalties most of them on runs of 10 yards or more minford on the other hand had 2 penalties for 19 yards what a joke. west had more penalty yards than minford had total offense. the score was alot closer than the game like i said before west is the real deal and minford is overated.

P.S.......west is not as fast as minford and is not as physical as what people think......sure they have good runningbacks but that o-line is just mediocre at best and that will show up tonight

Congrats to West on the win. I knew West had a good team coming into this game, but am surprised how they completely dominated both the offensive and defensive lines. The d line was being driven 4-5 yards off the ball and there was no containment on the outside, not to mention the Minford D looked completely confused at times. Minford needs to wake up and get back to playing like they were. -7 on turnovers the past 2 weeks, fumbling snaps, getting the ball stripped....these guys are better than that. Minford can end up 6-4 or 8-2 in the regular season. It is up to you guys. How bad do you want it? Don't make excuses...deliver results.

On another note, the Swords kid had a heck of a game. He is a hard runner and the best running back Minford has seen this year.

Well, Minford will not beat the good teams playing like that. west was definetley better on this night. Swords kid is the real deal. After seeing both teams play, dare I say it, west is better than wheelersburg.
Should be a great game week 10.

very few bright spots for the Falcons tonight. #81 had 2 nice receptions and #20 had a wild reception on a deflection. other than that the TD run was a bright spot and that was it. defense was pathetic. what in the hell kind of defense was Minford trying to play. also if you see your defensive line is getting blown off the ball WHY dont you put someone else in there and give them a chance. sure wouldnt be any worse and the arm tackling! pitiful. and what about the bad snaps and turnovers. come on!!

west owned both sides of the ball and #19 for west is the real deal. not impressed with the other backs but #19 had a good game. Congrats to west and minford better suck it up or they will be watching in week 11.

I was in the press box running the mix on our http://www.nextvsports.com video that will be up tomorrow. A lot of those ref's calls were accurate as we watched the replays. There were legit holding calls against West. However, we watched the interception video many times in slow mo.. even showing several coaches in the booth as they wanted to see it and it clearly shows the ball hitting the ground so Minford did catch a break there right before the half. Other than that call, the refs did ok.

Wests penalties were mainly from the wide receiver cutting back on the Minford DE. Holding all the way and all game and got called for it. Pretty blatant most plays. Got pendelton and bricker alot of room to run to the outside.

Minford not having #41 in this game was huge. One of the williams brothers, he never played offense from what I saw and was limping off the field on defense the whole game, or the parts he could play.

Minford is getting killed by TOs. Biggest one is on the west 10 yd line down 21-6 and the qb muffed the snap. Has Ethan always played center for Minford (#75) all year? I dont remember him playing that position last week.

Wests Oline was very good in this game. Minfords D looked very confused on their assignments when West came to the ball. Big holes for the cutback by the west RBs. Dont know why that was, the kids were dancing all over the defensive side all night, didnt look they knew where to be.

Minfords sweeps in the 3rd qtr were very good and gained alot of yards. Hmmmm.

Wests fake punt (1st try) was very good as swords ran for about 30yds. Minford had 4 LBs for that punt and not one could get to the outside to contain Swords.

No he hasnt. #57 needs to be there. I agree on the sweeps and dont understand why Minford went away from the offense that had been so good. then the fake....how did a coach in the booth not see it coming? the punter was not as deep as he had been and they should have saw that and called it. out played and out coached tonight. this was not the same Minford team that played Burg or Waverly or Oak Hill or Coal Grove. gut check time boys.
