Dont know if anyone's checked the ever important weather report lately but according to weather.com is 60 F overnight low with a 60% chance of T Storms, light winds, and 83% humidity.

The jury's out on who the weather benefits more.

Whats the condition of the ironton turf? We may have rain a bit of rain over the next two days, so that might be the bigger factor as far as playing conditions.

Logan's past says 3-0 against Ironton this century  But hell yes..everyone will enjoy this game..and most enjoy the back and forth too..most know it's just all in fun...it's part of the game. What's the fun in being a fan if you can't go back and forth?

Ironton has a past. Logan has a future.

I know...but I'm just sitting here reminiscing..5th game of my son's senior year. Just seems like yesterday he was playing pee wee football and and I was playing catch with a rosy-cheek kid in the yard. Now he's almost a grown man..where did the time go!

I don't think Ironton will be able to play the usual get a lead-control the clock football game. Logan will score early and often if Ironton can't cover the potent passing game. Not a good match-up for the Tigers.
As much as I would enjoy seeing the river rats win this one, I think it will be Logan by at least 2 scores.

I know what you mean. This is my son's last year and it's going by too fast. He is my youngest and it seems it was hard enough with my other two children's last year but this one is a doozy! Good luck to my Tiger's this Friday and may both teams be injury free.

That would be one huge upset for any number of reasons, not the least of which Logan would not score a single touchdown.....but hey, everyone's got their right to their own opinion.

I'm sure most would get on here..congratulate Ironton..and move on to Zanesville..the same thing we'll do if the Chiefs win. But don't worry..if the Chiefs win..there will be plenty of crow for the Tiger fans as well!

The Chiefs are too much for the Tigers to handle again this year. The Chiefs will come out on top and keep their record clean.

How about a little poetry?

Rain or shine we'll throw all the time :)

Last year Angle set a school record passing yards in a rainy, muddy game and Mays set a then-school record for receptions.

But rain ALWAYS favors the underdog, so Logan will need to play their best game regardless of the weather.

Wind..........rain.............humidity...............a three legged table

All make this game more interesting and alot closer than some think.

My earlier prediction was 28-14 (I think) and I'll keep it that, but some are predicting 3 and 4 score wins. Don't see that happening, but I do see Logan winning.

Man,

Me and the Chieftains have brought the ironton posters a long way. Now they say if we beat logan. i remember back in the day when logan posters had to say if we win. Well now we know we will when anytime, anyplace, anyone in the SEOAL. It is a good feeling.

Yes rain would favor the Tigers, but not enough to change the outcome of the game. Perhaps enough to make the varsity take snaps in the 4th quarter.

man , i cant wait till tomm. what a huge game for both teams. this should be on onn, or something. this should be a classical slugfest. i hope both teams go 9-1. and go way into the ohsaa playoffs. would be great to see both in stark county. can't wait to see angle. he sounds like an amazing athlete. has he had any big ffers yet. kinda lean, but has the heigyh. can always pack on more muscle. if ironton plays solid against the pass, and tackles, instead of trying to strip the ball. this has all the ingredients for a classic showdown. i'll be outside the stadium. by the fence , where you go into tiger alley, till shortly before gametime. and out there again , at the half. hope to meet some logan posters there. ya'll have a safe trip down, AND A LONG RIDE HOME. :-D

YTB,

I am looking forward to the game too. It is too bad Ironton did not hold up to their end of the bargain and come into this match up undefeated.
