Sheridan was to have done well against Athens during a 7 on 7

See where Logan could put a offense line averaging 6' 2 1/2"...256 pounds on the field. This would be a seven man front

short man 6' 00" tall man 6'06'
Small man 180 big man 340

I told you they were BIG, lol.

What I hear is that the run game will be featured this year "behind" the beef, lol.

I see an average of 6'2, 270lbs on the O-Line. Young (2 sophomores), and only 1 returning starter (Martin).

But I think there are some other players who can compete. Everyone will have to fight for their spots.

They can go smaller up front with Baker, Stamper-Norman (6-1, 180), Esteph, and Hayden.

I have more question marks on defense. Lots of good players on paper, how many of them want to get after it and hit people? I know Coach Walsh, Sturgell and company are working on identifying those guys.

Locos projection of starters would only mean 3 players going both ways and that 7 Seniors would start on D. That's not bad. However my "scouts" tell me to expect more players to go both ways but not all the time. The tough games are Lancaster, Loudonville, Jackson and Zanesville ( who still has athletes). Win one of these and all the others and playoffs are possible. Warren and Gallia look to be down and not win a lot of games. Portsmouth maybe. 500. N-Y should win a lot of games . TV may struggle. Meigs should win a lot of games. There should be plenty of points there if they just win.

As usual , I don't see the Chiefs opening with a win against the Gales.

LOL. It's CHANCE Cox and NATHAN Cocks. Transposed the names when I was retyping them.

Little is listed at 5'11 on the roster. My guess is that is a little generous, but its what the roster says.

I am less confident in my defensive projections. I think a lot of players will rotate, especially on offense.

McBride and Phillips will play a lot on offense, and both could end up starting games. I'm also hearing that a lot of kids will be expected to play both ways.

BTW, we should only be interested in what the Varsity does with Sheridan. Nice to know about the JVs too but the real "read" on Logan is how well they hang with the Generals varsity who, IMHO, is the projected 2nd place team in the MVL this year. Hold them down and be able to more the ball, even "losing " on a close score and I'll be happy. Details from someone after the scrimmage please.

Agree.

Not sure if I'll make it over to Thornville tonight or not. If so I'll have a recap.

Think Craig Dunn from the LDN will be there. If I can't go I'll talk to him.

Read where Sheridan beat up on Licking Valley and Columbus West pretty good in scrimmages.Looks like they have improved over last year.
