I92 with the ominous, vague message. I'm sure you have all of SE Ohio wondering what's going on, so I'll let them keep wondering.

Unfortunately, you're exactly right. Another big hit to what looked to be a very promising season for the Ironmen. Just unbelievably bad luck.

It's up to the rest of this team to work hard and pick up the slack.

Are we waiting for the media to break this earth shattering news ? We might be in suspense for awhile if that's the case.

Cryptic messages from the county seat...assume this relates to the transfer issue?

Potter transferred to Kings Mills, which is widely known. Three year starter and All-Ohio talent that will not be playing for the Ironmen during his senior season.

The issue that I92 referred to is not associated with that. It's nothing controversial. Just something that ALL teams deal with at some point. Unfortunately, it's part of the game. It's just not my place to reveal the information.

If you can't tell someone the info why did someone even bring it up leaving everyone out to wonder what the story is? Guess we will learn of it one day or maybe not.....

I am wondering if these "issues" are why they backed out of the scrimmage with NY? Did they know these things were going to happen and also knew NY was going to be loaded this year and didn't want to face the physicality of the Bucks in a preseason scrimmage with their depleted roster?

"Backed" out of a scrimmage with NY to get into a scrimmage with Ashland, KY. Yep, must've been worried about competition. Pretty sure the scrimmages were scheduled before any of this happened.

Roster is definitely not depleted. The Ironmen will still have a very talented team.

Pretty sure everyone avoids posting injury information on here. It may not matter much since Jackson's opponents will be well aware of it by the time the season rolls around, but like I said, not my place.

The previous AD at NY said "Jackson ducked us this year..." So I bet those "issues" are why they did that.

Sorry to hear about the injury issue.

With respect to the scrimmage lol, yeah I bet as soon as Jackson's 2015 Week 13 game was up last year and the bus left for home the Jackson AD was on the horn trying to get out of playing the 1-9 NY team in a scrimmage scheduled for 2016.

Whew, that was a close one.

The transfer and injury of two All Ohio players last year and most certainly again this year is a tough break.

Look for some sophomores and juniors to step up and try to fill those very big shoes.

Go Ironmen!
