Not looking for a fight, but were you there in the first half? Logan scored at will. Pretty sure they did not punt. Logan came out flat in the second half. And still won the game 35-10. Here is the truth. If ironton scores that and makes it 28-17. the final score clearly would have been 42-17. if not more. the other point is if Lutz has passed more in the game it would have been possibly closer. When ironton went to the pass i thought they were an impressive team. I know the Tigers could not block Jon Neff but beyond that they looked better passing than running.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- all right , back to this post. my computer has been down. and i nevergot to say this. now i will . lets deal in facts, not fantasy points logan never scored. you did not score 42, or even more . though i'm sure logan was trying to. so lets revisit mike lamb's td pass. he was clearly in. at that point that would have made the game 28-17. with 1-1/2 quarters left to play. but that touchdown was negated. and then the tigers scored again later. which would have made it 35-24. i can't understand people saying this did not play into the outcome. it very well, could have been the spark, hat the tigers needed. you acted like you were shooting fish in a barrel. just had to let you know, that i know. back on topic. i look for this game to be a barnburner. when we win out and you falter with zanesville. i'm looking for a shared seoal championship for the tigers. but we gotta bring the goods friday. YTB. :-D
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2MUCH, SINCE YOU IGNORED THIS ON PAGE 5. I'LL BUMP IT UP. CAUSE I'D REALLY LIKE TO SEE AN INTELLIGENT RESPONSE FOR ONCE. YOU BLEW OFF THIS TD, JUST LIKE THE REFS. AND I WOULD LOVE NOTHING MORE THAN TO SEE SOME MAC/SEOAL ACTION. WE'VE PLAYED LANCASTER, CHILLICOTHE, COLUMBUS DESALES AND BISHOP WATTERSON, WASHINGTON DC ARCHBISHOP CARROL HIGH SCHOOL, CAPE, BELFRY , KY. WAY TOO MANY TO MENTION. WE AIN'T SKEERED. I PROMISE YOU IT WOULD BE BETTER FOOTBALL, THAN YOU THINK. AND WE STILL OWN YOUNGSTOWN MOONEY. CAN YOU SAY THAT, ANYBODY. :-D

thats funny about that td pass. both the back judge who was standing on the back of the end zone line and the side judge who was standing 10 feet away looking down the sideline both signaled out of bounds before looking at one another. besides logan went with the run pretty much in the second half because amyx didnt want to run up the score. the two turnovers didnt help either in itown territory but thats an excuse and im not one for excuses. i was there, you cant bs me. oh, you left out the logan td that was called back to the one yard line even after diving past the pylon. logan fumbled on the next play. shoulda, woulda, coulda.

I'll be bringing a car load with me.

That tenderloin sandwhich sounds pretty good, just may have to try one.

Tigers win this in a close one 28-17

GO TIGERS

would love to see or hear this game. is there any radio stations or webcasts that i can receive in logan? thx in advance.

how does chilli match up with itown size wise?(off lines vs def lines)

if chilli has the stamina, itown really wore down in the 2nd half against logan and burg according to another poster. blitz hard and often.

Spoke to most of the starters tonight and asked what their thoughts were...they told me other than the QB...the rest of the chilli team is big and slow....that sounds like a team that we should be able handle...hope everything they are thinking is right.....everyone is healthy this week...and ready for the road trip...I would try out the tenderloin...but it's big boy for our bunch...don't get the chance to eat those sandwiches enough in southern ohio...wish we still had the restaurant in town...great place to eat...

I haven't heard anyone say anything like that about the cavs and my son plays for Ironton. Also, I thought they were eating at Bob Evans.

Well I have sat back all week read all the posts on this thread with out saying anything. Finally I gotta say one thing. It seems the Ironton people are going by the team they watch last year from Chillicothe. This team is not a big passing team as you think they are this year. However they will pass when needed. So far when this teams running game has been going, that's when they have won the game. The two games they couldn't moved the ball on the ground they lost. However the game plan might be differnt this week if it is true that Ironton's Defensive backfield is suspect.

Also Ironton will be in for a surprise if they think they are going to run all over the defense. This defense has be revamped since last year. They took their lumps against Sherdian, however several personal changes have been made since then, so far for the better. And trust me the defense front has good size, but they aren't slow, you will see that from the beginning of the game.
This game can go either way.
Of course there is only one thing for certain, and that is Time will tell the outcome of this game.

I have to say, I don't like when teams bash each other, it makes everyone look bad. I am not speaking about any one team in particular either. As a parent, when I read negative things about high school kids, it really irritates me because these are just kids and it's usually a bunch of childish adults that have nothing better to do. That being said, I wish both teams good luck but more luck to my Tigers :122249 and for both teams to display good sportsmanship and have an injury free game.

This should be a great game tonight. If it rains that will surely be a major factor in this game. Ironton has trouble holding onto the ball and rain is never good for the passing game. I think Ironton pulls this one out 28-17.
