I watched two 8th graders, will be freshman next year, bench 200 lbs and one get 450 lbs on the dead-lift. Numbers were great and the program raised alot of money.
I hope now that spring sports are over and school is out these players will understand the importance of lifting all summer and running. Go on vacation for a week with the family is fine, have fun, but most vacations are only one week in the summer. Summer is three months long. You can't sit around the house until August 1st to pick up the weights.
Most players on the team who don't think they will see playing time are the ones most likely to do nothing. This is the worse thing you could do, not improving yourself. Shock the coaches this summer. The best players will play. Find away to get on the field. Go Falcons!!!

Minford's weight program is designed to build strength alongside quickness and agility. As far as the backs go, they all are on the smaller end Bryan and McCormick are pushing 5'7 with Slone a good 5'10. Minfords offense is designed for smaller backs. They will have no trouble finding holes as they are probably the quickest on team.

Any numbers from weights this summer so far? Should have a better idea now that baseball and track is over.

Is Minford getting into any passing camps or 7 on 7's this summer?

When is the first official day that practice can begin?

Heard there was more trouble up at Minford. Somebody said they didn't want to play West for fear of being ran off the field. Any truth to this?

That is the sillyest post I have ever read! Who ever told you that? We play the same conference and the only time the two team wouldn't meet would be changing conferences and that will never happen.
West speed on the field could, (could) be more than Minford has, but for these two teams not to play, would be down right nuts.

I see that you are still an idiot. Not much has changed with your posts since last year.

Entertaining to say the least.

This is so freakin funny we all forgot to laugh! Anyway, on a more intelligent note, The Falcons are looking forward to another great season and continue building the winning tradition.

This is going to be the first and last time that I wish good luck to you Falcons without either Joel Williams or Aaron Williams. Keep your Oesch and Ostrowski... we're gonna win the rivalry this time.

Man you all couldn't even handle business in the SOC I with symmes valley your last few years in conference let alone compete with the big dogs.

Let's not forget that those Symmes Valley teams were very good. Good enough to beat Minford. Heck, they made the final four in Division 6. Plus, the team as a whole would just knock the crap out of anything.

NewEra,

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't we win the SOC in 2005 being our last year in the SOC division 1?

Yes, they were REALLY tough for about four years straight.
