Good news both from a competitive situation and from a $$$ at the gate and concessions perspective.BurgGrad_06 wrote:Heard from a very reliable source today that burg and Jackson deal was renewed for 4 years!
Trimble (D7) and/or Valley (D6) are probably the odds on favorite for local SE teams to get past Regionals....not sure maybe Athens in D3 Region 9 (this weeks' game against Big Red will tell us a lot).Old Bulldog wrote:I have seen Jackson, Ironton and Wheelersburg play this year and none of them looks like a regional champ to me. There's a hole in all their buckets.
I'd say Valley has the best shot of the southern Ohio teams because they're in a smaller division.
All the SOCII schools are a division or two higher than Valley and that makes a difference come playoff time.
When you're used to wrestling a weight class higher it's easier to deal with someone your own size. *If you don't get beat up doing it!
Nope, 9-1 will put them at the 6 seed spot most likely. See Drew Pasteur's site, he is pretty accurate when it comes to projections.IRONMENFAN wrote:If Athens gets beat this week they probably won't make the playoffs.
Not if they get beat by somebody we match up better against first.IRONMENFAN wrote:Why not in week 11 your going to have to play them at some point. Hopefully in the pouring down rain!
