Final thoughts on the game:
A lot has been said on this thread regarding strength of schedule and which team has been tested vs which team has not. Valley got a test right out of the gate this year when they visited a healthy Portsmouth team and wore on them until finally capturing a 9-point win. In addition, the Coal Grove game was hyped as a "test", after the way the Hornets played Wheelersburg. The Indians came out and dominated the Hornets from the get-go! I think you also have the factor how many tests these same kids passed last year, with so many returning starters who were integral parts of a 12-1 Regional Runner-Up campaign. I'm sure some folks are hoping these kids won't answer the bell, but I'm 100% confident they will.
As far as all the posts regarding Valley's fans, you're darn right we're confident. If you want to call it cockiness or arrogance, go ahead. Are we supposed to apologize for our program's success? If you don't like the way we conduct ourselves, that's your perogative. But, I think some folks need to step back and understand it's pride in our program not disdain for others!!

Great job by Valley. This was a mauling. Did not expect that at all.Thought it would be a game. Boy was I ever wrong. West line got killed.Congrats Indians and good luck the rest of the way.
