What 3?
The same 3 that transfer every year according to this site.

Don’t listen to these rumors. Same folks were saying a month ago that Rucker wasn’t playing football next season.
That’s true lol. I remember every year The Lattimores were transferring because of lack of Playing time and Arthur was suppose to transfer. 🤷‍♂️🙄
Yes. Their inevitable transfers became an annual discussion on this site.

Cunningham RB

Clausey OL
You are correct about the two, could be the third but don’t know who Clausey is. Is the name spelled correctly.

Adkins will hurt more in basketball. That’s a bummer to see him go.

Cunningham’s dad played for Burg. That one is a surprise.

Not sure if any would have started but losses are losses. Wish them the best wherever they land.

I thought Adkins was done with football after first few games last year? Or maybe he got injured but I don’t remember seeing him on field after couple of games. Hate to hear him leaving cause kid is good athlete.
Cunningham leaving hurts Burgs backfield in my opinion. Hard runner who got a lot of playing time and I’m pretty sure he would of been in starting rotation.
Hate to see them leave but I’m sure they had their reasons and I wish them the best.

They would physically have to move to be eligible. I’m pretty sure none of them live in that district, I know two don’t at least. So if they play through out the entire year, they have had to have moved addresses. And there lies the entire problem with transfers. Why have rules, if they aren’t going to be enforced?

If you want to leave, we’ll go right ahead but ohsaa needs to rework the CB where kids who transfer in high school must be accounted at a more higher level.

Adkins going to Portsmouth (mainly for basketball and baseball) and already lives in that district. Heard Cunningham actually lives in Green district which is where he transferring. Not sure about Clausing, but he going to Green as well.

Looks like the Larry Hall hire at Green already paying off for them. Solid coaching and new facilities going to make Green an attractive option for kids looking for a change of scenery.*

The rule states that if a player doesn’t move, he is not eligible for the back end of the season and post season. Why would a kid want to move for 5 games?

I was under the impression that Cunningham didn’t so if he does, he will be fine.

I’d say the kids from green are for playing time why wait at burg when you can play now

Not true. All would have started. Played a lot of snaps last year. Not sure why they are moving but has nothing to do with playing time.

If the decision is based strictly on football playing time, you are correct. Going to Green makes a lot of sense.

There are lots of other factors that make Burg more appealing, but hard to argue based on playing time.

Two words , Larry Hall. Burg isn’t what it was 5 years ago.

could be a bigger part of the game plan at green. might be the feature back and get a ton of carries. that wouldnt be the case at burg

So homegrown burg lost some ( gulp) transfers?
They left the honor of being a part of seo's superior coaching, culture & academics? I thought all these burg kids lived in burg? The Ironton kids live in Ironton. But everybody is saying the kids portaling and departing the Yale of SEO all live everywhere else but burg? lol
So players are trying to transfer to Ironton but burg is losing kids including what at least one that played a role in the backfield?

5 - 5

Regional runner up 2 of the last 3 years with new starting QBs each year. I’ll take it as a fan.
