Quoting a friend of mine from a recent conversation, "The jealousy that some Logan people have for the TVC will keep them crying and boo hooing about teams that 'cut and run' and I think that is just hilarious." (personal communication, August 2, 2016).

I made sure I cited correctly so that I don't get accused of "changing a quote." I also have a screen shot of the post from LHS 72 so if the original mysteriously gets changed I will have the evidence to support me.
Never changed a "Quote" FYI if the Chiefs ever has a chance to pile on the points in a game against a former SEOAL member I hope they will pile on the points! Grounded Chuck , You can Quote me on that!
There are a lot more "former SEOAL members" than there are current ones so Logan has a lot of teams to "pile on the points" on. The bright side is Logan should finish second in the SEOAL this year. Bad news, they should also finish next to last.

Logan the largest school in SE Ohio, South of 70 and east of Hamilton County, yet they want to play the Nelsonville's and Warren's of the world. All while claiming that they really aren't that big a school. Of course my favorite is the post from the person who thinks the OHSAA should let Logan into the SE District tournaments to compete against smaller schools.

Jackson does have depth, and younger guys will step in and play well, but I don't think people should just dismiss this as if it isn't a big deal.

These are All-Ohio football players who have played important roles at the varsity level since they were freshmen. There aren't many players at Jackson that have contributed as much as Potter and Cooper did in the early stages of their careers, and they were very important pieces in Jackson's success the last two seasons as well.

Losing both guys basically means you're losing FOUR starters since they play on offense and defense. Going into the season, I probably would have called them Jackson's two best players overall. It's hard to withstand that kind of loss. That said, I think that the staff will have the Ironmen ready to go, and they'll still do very well this season, even against a very difficult schedule.

Losing these two guys who will not be replaced and with their schedule, my prediction is that Jackson will fight to be .500 this season.

If you are an Ironmen fan you had to love traditional open practice today.

Lot of energy with coaches and players, everyone looking good. Looking forward to next week's scrimmage.

I think this team has a little chip on Its shoulder with the talk being more about who isn't here rather than who is here . I see them surprising some people

Saw a lot of good looking sophomores today . The sophomore class has not lost a football game since peewee and are about 40 kids deep. They will need to step up this season and contribute .

Jackson will need no motivation with the loss of two of there top players going into 2016. Jackson always plays the "no respect/underdog" card to the hilt, all while really along with Logan being a couple bullies in SE Ohio. Can only imagine the underdog card they'll play after losing a little bit. I like the way the current AD thought outside the box to fill out the schedule with different teams this year, but at the same time it is his last year. We'll see what the new AD does with Jackson Football in coming years all while joining a new league.

Also, exactly who is Jackson's QB this year? They always seem to reload with QB by committee or who can half ass chuck it slightly better than the others, coaches son?

I thought they were joining Miami Trace, Washington Court House, Greenfield McClain, Hillsboro, and Chillicothe; The 5 members of the SCOL that decided to leave to create a new league that included Jackson. No idea what the name will be.

Granted I am on the outside looking in on this team, but not seeing a "fight" to be .500. Record after the first five games is likely to be 4-1, not seeing only one win in the second half of the season by the team that got to Week 13 last year, but never know anything is possible.
