athens had the players and coaches at the right time and took it for everything they could. And hats off to them for it. They made us all in seo very proud. The same with Trimble. But trying to make it sound like it was nothing and happens all the time.... Your taking that specialness from that group of kids. 99.9% of the time svsm would beat any team in seo and not think twice about it. Those athens players did something very special.

Then again maybe I'm way off base and reading too far into some of your pot sturing posts.

I think the majority (not all) of these Logan fans need a big, nice box of tissues and some cheese because their tears and whining are incredible. They never give credit where credit is due. That Athens team did something Logan has never done. Ironton has done more than Logan has; as a matter of fact, Ironton holds the record for state runner-ups in football, which is something to chest thump about. Beating Canal Winchester in 2009, Dublin Jerome in 2008 doesn't count. In 2001 Logan was a #2 seed in D-I and let a #7 seed beat them. Whew, I don't think that's anything to write home to the family about, either. It's no wonder the entire community of SE Ohio doesn't want you around, particularly, the SEOAL. You've personally destroyed a league not on the field; rather, with your actions and words off the fields and courts. It would be a shame for you to be in any league because you're in a league all your own when it comes to talking!

Again raider here you go again..... What was athens wins over the 6 yrs before that?? Or the 12yr or 24 yrs?? They had a group of very good kids and coaches at the right time and made a good run. Before that they were celler dwellers in the SEOAL. The real question will be what will athens do over the next 6 yrs??

Raider has very biased opinions !He's a young man trying to fit in w bulldog 93 His goal is to become "that guy" that's sitting front row of an Athens basketball game against Welston and somebody says "oh hey omg that's raiders"
But anyways
but it looks like this ! , Athens is the tough kid at the top of the mud hill now and for the past few years , but Logan has just hit their first slippery spot in a while and are trying to find their way back to the top ... It was Logan's hill , Athens took it from them , and it was well deserved ! I say the winner of this years game takes the crown , unless Nelsonvilles there to make it theirs again !
